We LOVE Bodhi Asian Street Eats~!! 🥰
Background: My boyfriend discovered Bodhi and excitedly brought me there for dinner around 6pm two days ago on 8/28/25. We always get our Thai fix at DegThai but they don’t serve my favorite Pad Woon Sen (PWS, stir fried glass noodles)…so, I’ve been hunting a good place down for 5+ years in Nashville area.
Food taste and portion size: Bodhi’s PWS is super yummy and very perfectly portioned!! I was unsure of their spicy levels so the waitress brought me their chili flakes and chili oil separately. 🤤 In fact, everything we ordered was fresh and delicious~!!! Piggie Fries and Steamed Shrimp Dumplings make the perfect appetizers; PWS is Pan Fried Noodles (choose glass noodles) and Bodhi Fried Rice can be customized without veggies for my boyfriend. I’m now aiming to try everything on their menu haha 👏👏👏
Cocktails and Drinks: I know I will always order the Bodhi-tini (owner Nancy’s signature creation)!! ❤️ Their server Grace also recommended me this other lemony cocktail which has a refreshing twist of basil~ Their Jack and Coke is standardly good. And their Thai Tea is also amazing! 🥂
Space and Ambience: Their space is very welcoming and very nice with the tall ceiling. There’s a huge L-shaped bar and multiple tables, and a couple of tall tables. The lighting is very comfy and special with a translucent covering (cloud-ish) over the rectangular ceiling lamps. I love the special string lights they have and also the love the ceiling painting of clouds and vines inherited from the previous Italian restaurant space. 💙 Oh, their male bathroom is a single room but super spacious haha~
Events: The owner Nancy mentioned she organized a novel Bodhi-kase a couple days ago: an omakase-inspired course of various Asian street food offerings. And they hosted a fantasy football league at their bar area while we were there. They are very creative and I can’t wait to explore their events in future~!
Owners and staff: Jason and Nancy are the owners and they are super friendly and lovely!! They moved here from Texas a few years ago and I am sure Bodhi will keep them here. Their staff are Grace and Rhim (hope I got her name right? she moved here from Bangkok a year ago and speaks excellent English~), who are both very efficient, observant, and hardworking. 💪
Conclusion: We will definitely...
Read moreGood asian fusion restaurant. This place has plenty of seating (and does offer reservations and will host large parties). They have plenty of options for food including bowls, noodle dishes, fried rices, and many different appetizer/street foods. I recommend the soy sauce noodles since they are cooked well and have a delicious sauce on them. Though I will say I wish it had a bit more sauce. Others in my group also had the hibachi rice and broccoli delight bowl and both liked those dishes too. It was very well priced for the food you got so I will say it does have great value.
The service was pretty good as they kept my drinks filled constantly and were nice. However, they never asked if we wanted dessert (which we did want) and they asked us about our check before we were finished eating. In fact, they brought out the machine to run our cards before we were even finished with our meals. They also never really explained the menu which none of us had been there before so it could have been nice to hear any suggestions or things like that.
The restaurant is on the smaller side but it wasn’t too busy until a large group (over 20 people came). This was still fine though. I will say it was quite loud though. They have one restroom (as in just one room) for each gender. The women’s restroom was HUGE! But it was clean and...
Read moreReally enjoyed this place! We had 5 different dishes and shared as a family. Garlic noodles are indeed on point, the “Musman” curry was very good, and the mango cashew bowl was good too. We also tried the soy sauce noodles which were OK, and the Pad Thai was a bit of a weak link. Fair prices, nice atmosphere, friendly service. Owner seems to know a lot of his regulars, which is always nice to see. I do wish portions were slightly larger, especially for the Musman curry… That one really needed more of the curry sauce, but the flavor had tremendous depth, and the chicken quality was good too. We are pretty good eaters and I have 9 and 12 year old boys, so we left somewhat hungry yet (man those boys can eat), but I know some people are very light eaters, and we had skipped lunch. But I do feel the portions could be 10% larger, even if that was in extra noodles or rice to keep costs down. Overall a fan! It can be hard to find good ethnic food in TN, but this place delivers! We will definitely be back and now we know a bit better which dishes shine. Get the garlic noodles as others have said! Great place for a low-key date! Service was prompt...
