I stopped into Cori‘s after a glowing recommendation from my good friend. She raved about French Dip and all the different options of hotdogs they have. So I thought I would give it a try. Inside the restaurant restaurant was clean and bright and looked very inviting. The menu on the wall was almost overwhelming; there are so many options to choose from. Dozens of different style hotdogs, plenty of sides and quite a few other sandwiches. They even have fried Twinkies. Should be something for everyone on that menu. I ordered a French dip with a side of onion rings and a Coke. That’s where my good experience ended. The French dip with served on a very thick buttery bun which didn’t suit me at all. You might like it. I mean everyone doesn’t have the same tastes. The roast beef and Au Jus was very salty. Way too salty for me. I don’t like salt all that much so again maybe it would suit you. For me it was just too too much. The absolute worst part of the whole experience was the onion rings. I love good onion rings and was very hopeful that these would be good. But they not. The onions were sliced way too thin and over battered. The worst thing was they were obviously overcooked. They were very dark and tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil. I only ate one of them. The rest went in the trash. Pretty disappointing for a $12 meal. They have T-shirts for sale if you want to advertise for them. I think if you like hotdogs you might want to come in and try one of their literally dozens to choose from. There were plenty of people in line to eat so the place must be popular around here. I didn’t like it much though and I...
Read moreI've heard of this location from a co-worker and decides to check it out. Firs time walking in the menu is just huge! There are at least 20+ different types of hot dogs and sausages. It took a little while to decide on what to choose. Its unfortunate to see any lack of meals or combos other sandwiches. The place was busy at the time and there was very little seating with 3 tables and a lot of bar stools. The color scheme of red and yellow is kind of off putting and didn't not match the decor. My first thought was this kind of place is for take out or a quick bite. Staff didn't greet and did not seem very happy to have guest.
The dog I chose was the Mac Dog and a side of the chilli cheese fries. The wait time didn't take long and by that a time one of the three tables became available. The hotdog looked so incredible with a mountain of macaroni and cheese! Tasted just as wonderful! Full 100% beef flavor on a new England style bun and it was amazing. The fries were not very good. The chilli tasted stange and not like chilli? I even surveyed some of the staff and was displeased to see one of them was topping dogs with his bare hands. I don't know what the procedure is but when handling ready to eat it best to wear gloves.
This was a nice visit but not worth what I paid for and maybe I will consider coming back...
Read moreSo I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 1. I have come numerous times and I really enjoy the food. So much so that I have tried over half of the menu and brought numerous co-workers. We eat out everyday since I'm in a blue collar industry so I not only have given them a lot of business, but I have brought them a lot of new business. However my wife is not a huge fan as she simply doesn't like hot dogs. So one day she wants to come to lunch with me so I beg and convince her to come to Cori's. She finally agrees and so her, myself and our 2 kids go. After looking at the menu she decides that she really only wants the kids meal considering she is only 4'10" of a woman and really can't eat that much. (She still wears a children's shoe size so you get the picture). Unfortunately the guy tells us she can't have the meal simply because she's older and if we insist he will give us the meal and just charge us an extra $3 for the inconvenience. Really?! No thanks! So we cancel the order and leave. So good job, this employee now has successfully saved his company not only the $3, but the cost of the entire meal, all of my future meals, as well as all of the meals of the ride along employees I being with me at least once a week. I hope it...
