Walked in with my sibling and my attention was immediately drawn to the manager, who was verbally harassing the staff behind the counter. Snapping at them and being passive aggressive towards them in front of customers. They seemed to be short staffed, but that behavior is inexcusable. Especially from a manager who didn’t seem to be doing anything to help the staff except for holding a cup and complaining at them- I ordered a lemonade. Simple drink. The manager poured it and it absolutely tasted like dawn dish soap with lemon in it. My sibling got a frozen mocha drink, and the staff member who was snapped and barked at made it amazingly with a smile on their face, despite the circumstances. I frequent this Dunkin’ and always see this manager being hostile towards the staff. I finally had enough and needed to say something. Props to the staff for keeping their heads up and keeping up their amazing work. The manager needs to have a different approach, because yelling at your staff (especially in front of customers) is NOT the way to run things and will not keep your staff working there for long. Maybe that’s why they’re...
Read moreI really want to like this place. I was so excited when I heard they were opening a Dunkin near our house. It's the only donut shop with halfway decent coffee in my experience. But almost every time I visit, something goes wrong.
When I order through the app and drive through, I get the wrong items. Or I order and pay only to be told when I arrive that they are sold out. Today we went inside to order, got our coffee, then stood around for fifteen minutes before I determined they forgot about our donuts. I've come across a couple of workers who are happy to help, but most are not. I'm rooting for things to get better, but I find myself visiting less and less frequently because of the hassle.
That said, the food quality is usually on-par with Dunkin (for what it's worth), and if you visit when the stars align, you may get in and out quickly with the right items. I've experienced that probably twice over...
Read moreTwo complaints and one is a deal breaker.
First, my family and I tried to go into the store on 9/24/23 and they decided to close the store literally as we walked in the door. We had to walk out, get in our vehicle, and get in the drive through line for 15 minutes. There were no signs on the door and the door was unlocked. Very bad customer experience.
Secondly, a lack of care from the staff. The past three times I have been to this location, the Nitro Cold Brew “machine is not working.” I asked if there was a plan to fix the machine and the intercom employee said “I don’t know what to tell you man.” Common customer service is trained to treat customers with respect. Use titles like sir, instead of “man” when addressing a male.
If there is a staffing shortage, I expect the owners to be inside running the show until hires are trained on manners, etiquette, and...
