Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Mount Juliet

My husband and I visited this location 15 minutes before closing which we normally would not do but 2.17.23 was an odd day. I could tell the young men working were annoyed at us with their body language and facial expressions so I gave them a cash tip. It wasn't much but I wanted them to know they were appreciated. And that I recognized that it was late and close to closing time. The guy I handed the cash gave me a quirky smile. I didn't think anything of it until we got in the car and I opened and took a bite of my sandwich. He was smiling because I was giving them a tip and they had already purposely put so much salt on both cheesesteak sandwiches that it wasn't edible. It literally burned my mouth. $20 bucks down the drain. I know I'm not the only person that has ordered food with 20 to 15 minutes until close so not sure if this is done often by these associates or if it was just us but I would beware going here. It could end up being a waste of your money and obviously the associates are lacking morals, values, etc. It had been a hard day. I hadn't eaten since breakfast so I may have been more emotional than normal but this really hurt my feelings. I just couldn't do someone like that! I try to treat others the way I want...

My daughter and I was on our lunch break. The customer service was good so I am giving one star. We both ordered the chicken, bacon, and ranch sandwhich. I pulled most of that chicken meat off from my sandwich because it was very bland and grainy like. My daughter took two bites and could not continue to eat the sandwich. I'm not sure what kind of chicken it was, but definitely not what I expected. The meal was not worth the money. Very disappointed. I eat here on a regular basis and the quality of meat at Jersey Mikes is superior to competitors. The restaurant itself is always clean, and I just wanted to point out the care of the employees at this store. I am updating my review to high light Assistant Manager Steven took my call at 8:46 pm for a pick up order, and did not hesitate to take my order.
