Valentino's Pizzeria & Restaurant (Flanders) — Restaurant in Mount Olive

Just had to share our HORRIFIC Valentino's experience tonight!!! Couldn't believe a manager would treat someone like this! Truthfully, never had a problem before but will never be going back!

My husband attempted to pick up a pizza I had called in. The girl on the phone never gave me an order number. It was a pretty distinct order: Large Half Hawaiian + half mushroom and meatballs. They wouldn't give it to him because he didn't have the order number. He tried to call me but I was busy taking care of our baby who was teething crying and sick. My husband said it was "Half Hawaiian and something" then waited for 15minutes thinking they would sort it out but they wouldn't give him the pizza so he left. He came home hungry and pissed. I called, spoke to the girl who took my order, and I could hear her trying to find out what happened.. I could hear someone in the background, "Yeah the half Hawaiian is here but the guy didn't know the order number." The girl then said yeah that was the order! So then the guy in charge personally came on the phone to -Yell-, YES YELL, at me that they were too busy and they wouldn't give him the pizza because he didn't have the order number. "Your husband a liar! He didn't know what the order was at all, didn't ask for a half Hawaiian pizza!" -Taken aback, I said that that was no way to talk to customers. STILL YELLING. "We are very busy! We have your order, it's ready, just come back!" -I responded, We are not going to pick it up, you made my husband wait and wouldn't give it to him when it was ready. STILL YELLING. "Put your husband on the phone, he lied about telling us the order! I want to talk to him!" -My husband is angry and hungry and doesn't want to talk. STILL YELLING. "That's because he is guilty!" -Are you joking me? He knew the order, you wouldn't give him the pizza because the girl didn't give me an order number. And now you're YELLING AT ME?! "I'm sorry we're busy, come back and pick up the pizza -FOR FREE-. I can't stay on the phone, I'm sorry for yelling." -No thank you, you can have the pizza and hung up.

Obviously we won't be going back. If yelling at your customers is how you handle the stress of a busy Friday night then I guess you can afford losing some. Must be nice to be...

I Have coming to Valentino,s Pizza From The First Day since I was in Oakwood Village Apartments and I Have Been back There Many,Many Times Since . And I Can tell You That I Feel You Will REALLY,REALLY BE Happy There and The Staff are Really Nice Also & I CAN Say I GET ALONG WITH All of Them and Call All of Them Friends & I THINK You Will Also . So That,s Why I,m Going 2 Give My Favorite Place Valentino,s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant 5 Stars and I Bet You Will Also after Your first Time & I Can almost Guess that You Will GO BACK Also Just as I WILL DO MANY, MANY MORE TIMES Also . SO TAKE MY ADVICE AND I DO HOPE YOU GO IN Valentino,s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant Soon To Enjoy The Staff and The Atmosphere &;The Out of This World Food which is Homemade. So That,s Why Valentino,s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant Says ( Love at First Bite ) . And Because I Love It Ohhh ! Sooo ! Much I Will Go Back Very Soon MYSELF . I went Back into Valentino,s Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant Today 2/15/24 so I could get some of That REALLY GOOD Food I got a Few Nice Hugs From My Favorite Friend & I am Referring to The Best Friend I am lucky to get To Know Joe and I will be back to My Favorite Place Valentino,s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant a lot so I Can Have Dinner and I Can see Joe ( My Favorite Friend/Buddy) & I think Valentino,s Pizzeria is like a Family to Me and as I said I think You Will...

I could have selected any Pizzeria in the surrounding towns this afternoon, but I selected Valentino's. Speaking or some sort of communicate with your customers would be nice. How may I help you? How was your pizza? Is there anything else? Not a word. Just took my money and handed back my change, which of 25 cents. Basically $5 for a soda and a slice that was served on a regular plate, which was a nice change from always having slices served on paper plates. No, have a nice day... thank you.... Nothing. I would have ordered on line, but even then at least I would get a Thank You for your order. Probably would have given 3 stars, with the average pizza that was served here, but the lack of any interaction at all, left me with a bad taste. I will gladly spend my pizza money somewhere else when given the proper courtesy of saying Thank You for your business. For this reason, I will not be going...
