Came in for ice cream on a hot day before going to the park with my friend, friend used to work there but quit because a hostile work environment. She was worried to come in because drama but I promised that if this place had decency they would recognize we’re customers and not workers. When we entered and the workers caught my friends face they immediately seemed hostile. I tried ignoring it and placed my order along with my friend, they completely ignored me and accused my friend of ordering to spite them, I tried to calm the situation and told them I just wanted ice cream and that’s why we’re here. They continued being disrespectful and ignoring me. I told them that I was the one paying so they should focus on giving service to their customers. A girl in the back that I was watching make our food did a disrespectful face towards me accusing me of looking at her menacingly and began to ask if I had a problem and knew who she was. This began a slight screaming match bc I told her I don’t know her and just liked to watch my food get made. Both staff were very disrespectful and treated us customers with great disrespect bc they’re personal beef with my friend, may I mention in front of children and other customers. My friend didn’t tell me much about her drama with them because it hurt her but if this is how they act to workers let alone customers I understand why she quit! Will not be coming again, just because I’m with a friend doesn’t mean I’ll harass workers or even know their business with her. Read moreI went to order a blizzard. This is my second time going to Dairy Queen in general. I asked what type of fruit blizzards they have because it doesn’t have any on the menu. The lady taking my order was really rude and disrespectful. On top of that, I believe it was the same girl who was at the window taking my card and handing me my dessert. After she handed me back my card, I watched her sit there and go around the corner and eat and come back more than once. I’m not going to eat after that person. After that, she proceeded to hand me the dripping wet blizzard. Looked Exactly like a bowl of soup. Then when I called and told them, the lady on the phone was rude as well and she told me that I couldn’t get a refund I would have to get a remake and I said I don’t wanna remake. I don’t trust what you guys are going to do with it anymore, then she told me I could get a refund. I ended up, leaving without a refund and with without a Blizzard because I threw it in the trash. I’m a doordash driver and arrived at this location to pick up two orders. One had my customer’s name on the side and a delivery sticker sealing it. While looking for the second order I heard two employees bickering over not being able to find it, and then having the doordash order they had on hand not labeled properly. They then handed me the orders, saying the customer’s names with confidence as they did. I figured they confirmed that the mystery bag they had found was my customer’s. It was not.
The problem solving here was nonexistent. If they were confused they could have asked me what the customer’s order was. They literally just threw someone else’s food at me and said “have a good day.” As a doordash driver, and a restaurant manager myself, this is super irresponsible.
