My wife was looking for a good turkey wrap in town. Many people recommended Mozzo. So I decided to stop in today to try it out. I got a chicken parm sandwich and a Turkey wrap for my wife. So far so good. I waited about ten minutes which is expected and totally fine. Then I noticed my chicken parm was finished and was placed on a metal table for bagging. Surely the wrap would be soon to follow. Unfortunately it did not. Several minutes went by and I noticed multiple orders that were placed after mine are being completed and served to customers. I’m a pretty patient person so I’m assuming the wrap must be coming up any second. After what seemed like another ten minutes I noticed one of the girls up front ask where the wrap is. They don’t have a clue where it is. She then goes and speaks to someone about the wrap. After a brief discussion they are finally on the same page and after an additional five minutes my wrap finally comes out. Of course by this point the sandwich has been sitting for over fifteen minutes and the quality is all but gone. The girl hands me my order clueless to what just had taken place. I mention that I hope the hot sandwich will still be good from sitting for so long. She asked if I wanted it remade. I’ve already spent more time than I had trying to get lunch. I’m not going to wait another ten or fifteen minutes while my other food starts to go bad. I went straight home to eat. The chicken parm was chewy and dry by this point. I didn’t even take more than a couple bites before giving it to my dog. As far as first impressions go, this was not it. I doubt...
Read moreFirst time dining in three weeks ago, asked for provolone on The Fusion in lieu of brie, but it came out with something more like blue cheese. Today for take-out, asked for pepper jack on The Fusion in lieu of brie, but again it was made with something resembling blue cheese. The other Mt Pleasant location substitutes the cheese without any problems! However, at both locations, the brie is not at all like the mild creamy, buttery flavor of brie, but is crumbly and pungent like blue cheese. My friend couldn't finish The Fusion today because of the strong taste and smell of the cheese. The BLTs were delicious, as their sandwiches are typically, so I rated the food a 4 and the service a 2 because of the cheese mix-up. Both locations need to consider the issue with the brie. Both locations are small with crowded seating making it a bit noisy for friendly conversations, which is why we...
Read moreSandwiches are fine, but the service is not. Walked in on a Saturday over an hour before close, and were the only two people in the place. The first girl at the register shouted to the other girl to take our order because she had to “tie her shoe” and was much too busy. No greeting or anything. The second girl said “what do you want” and those were the only words exchanged. No “okay, give us 5 minutes” or any type of friendliness. We felt like we inconvenienced them by coming in. Saw a review about the “Brie” cheese on the fusion and I can second that it certainly isn’t any type of Brie I’ve had. Much more like a bleu cheese / goat cheese hybrid. Just weird. Apart from the cheese, the food was good and we would go back, but the customer service is...
