WOW!! WOW! WOW! We just discovered this place after living here for over a year. We so wish we found it sooner!! We have been here for breakfast and were amazed at how good their breakfast sandwiches were, in addition to the awesome coffee. Then on a Saturday night we were looking for a quick bite to eat, and were pleasantly surprised that Sena was open until 9pm. We had no idea how good the food was going to be. It comes out looking like it's from a gourmet restaurant, and tastes just as good!! We had sandwiches, soup and a salad.....so much better than we've had anywhere in the area!!

We then decided to buy some dessert to go, oh man, delicious!! Sena is tucked away behind the Hobby Lobby shopping center. If this place was on the main strip, the line would be out the door. We found our new favorite "go to!" Seems to be family owned by some really nice people that have amazing culinary and pastry skills!! Look forward to our...

You seriously need to try this place out.

I have a certain taste and expectation for service and food quality. I tend to shy away from chain restaurants and prefer privately owned establishments that bring their own uniqueness to "the table." That being said, some deliver, and some don't. Though there are a large number of places in the Mount Pleasant area that offer quality, Sena Café stands the tallest amongst them. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is bright and cheery, and the owners know me by name.

I get the same reception here as I would going to a friend's house for dinner. I go here every morning, but it's not just for the food, it's to see Ogi, Sena, and the family.

So go sit down, have a cup of coffee and some avocado bruschetta. Or if it's night time, try the house red with the octopus salad, it's all fresh...

Hidden Gem in Mount Pleasant!

Sena Café is hands down one of the best spots I’ve discovered in Mount Pleasant. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and just the right mix of cozy and modern. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.

The food? Absolutely incredible. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee and pastry to go or sitting down for a full meal, everything is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Their menu has a great variety

What really sets Sena Café apart is the attention to detail and the sense of community. It feels like more than just a café — it’s a place you want to come back to again and again.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food, great coffee, and a relaxing place to unwind in...

UPDATE: Had been awhile since we have been back and it was still amazing! Had a Panini and Greek Salad, a cup of soup, and my daughter has a great grilled cheese. This is a great choice for lunch.. Will need to try their breakfast! Didn't realize they served it Day 2 and the dart landed here... Beginning to think you walk in a random place and find a gem and this was no exception! I had the Prime Ribeye sandwich and the wife had a lobster roll.... We shared as it was a first for us both and the first bite response from her was I'm in heaven!! Again have lots more to try and will be back... The salad was fantastic and would recommend it over chips any day!

Wonderful and amazing atmosphere! Super clean and neat environment with the most friendly and kind owners to add the cherry on top! It was my first time here and I already can't wait for the next time! The food was absolutely delicious, including the chicken wrap with a nice cup of tea to match, and an amazing sweet dessert to finish off! The portions are insanely huge and that's not something I say often!! (I had a hard time finishing the wrap there was so much food, but it was so good that I wiggled some room and rolled out of the door when I was done!) Sena Cafe is definitely in my favorites list and I suggest everyone to go grab a bite!

I have no idea why I haven’t been here yet. This was truthfully a 10/10 experience overall. First of all, I am ALWAYS looking for a new cafe to check out. The customer service was top tier which is always so nice to experience when out in public. It makes going out in public worth it, you know? I decided to get the lobster roll and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long long time. My vanilla oat milk latte was also top tier and I’m a vanilla oat milk latte snob. Highly recommend this place. Oh and the pastries - Absolutely amazing, so delicious & I loved the selection. I got a lemon bar & the gooey butter cake. Enough said.
