Now, let's talk about the real star of the show - the food! Sesame's burgers are undeniably delicious, boasting high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients that are packed with flavor. Each bite of my perfectly cooked, juicy burger was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to excellence.
But the real game-changer for me was their Buffalo Wrap. I can confidently say that this is hands-down the best wrap I have ever tasted. The tender, succulent chicken, drenched in tangy buffalo sauce, was beautifully complemented by the crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes. Read moreAfter living in Mount Pleasant for a year we finally decided to give this place a chance. We are truly sorry we haven't come earlier. We ordered the Sesame Teriyaki wings and they were perfect. There are only 2 places in the Charleston area that made my jaw drop at how awesome the wings are; this place tops that list. They had just the right amount of a crispy shell without being overcooked. They were sweet but not overbearing. I had the Down South burger and my wife custom built hers. The hamburger was obviously fresh ground onsite and they were pleasantly seasoned. The toppings were fresh and the condiments are homemade. The ketchup has a more tomato based flavor than mass produced "toothpaste" ketchup; it's great. The mustard is a deli style spicy but it wasn't too strong. The mayonnaise had a hint of garlic and if it wasn't unhealthy to eat it straight, I'd put it on my cereal! It is that good. The Onion rings were to die for!!! They tasted beer battered and were fried just right. They were NOT dripping in grease nor were they soggy in any fashion; quite the opposite. The brownie was moist and was most definitely baked right here. If there chef in the kitchen doesn't have a professional culinary background then I'm surprised. As far as the service we were very pleased. We never had to ask for refills and the manager Bradford visited our table twice. He went out of his way to introduce himself and spent a few minutes talking. We felt very welcome, the crowd and atmosphere was nice, the food was amazing, and the service was unrivaled. The prior 3 star comment is most undeserving. Our experience was the best we've had in awhile. Thank you Sesame. We definitely...
Read moreAny reviews of this location were prior to the mgt change. This place is led with incompetence. We experienced the worst dining of our lives here recently. Stuck here for almost 4 hours somehow, to the point that it was an experience we knew we'd never have again.
Our waitress was high as a kite, couldn't form sentences and "lost" our orders twice.. yep completely forgot her tables until we said something after sitting there for 30+ mins each. Maybe she was fired that night I have no idea..
Several other employees lied and said it was a technical error.. it wasn't, the gm cleared that up later..
Then comes the general manager... Who we watched give her life story to multiple tables and apologize for an awkwardly long time, making the conversation more about herself than the paying customers poor experience.. she finally makes her way to our table.. somehow she stays there for no less than 45 mins. Coming back each time we politely show lack of interest.. finally, when do much time has passed that it defies all logic on how we hadn't eaten yet, I'm noticably frustrated. She thought it was appropriate to confront me about it and point out the fact that she could tell I was the only one at my table NOT related to the rest of my group..
Food was cold and burnt on top of all this..
I feel like this was all way too obvious for ownership here not to be aware.. my only advice would be to act with some urgency and overhaul...
