From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point — moody lighting, great music, and a warm, stylish atmosphere that made us feel like we were part of something special (but not too cool to order fries). It’s the kind of place where you want to stay all night — and honestly, we nearly did.

Devan was everything you want in a bartender: quick with a pour, even quicker with a joke, and somehow knew exactly what we wanted before we did. His cocktails were next-level — balanced, creative, and dangerously easy to drink.

Amanda kept everything flowing with a perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. She was upbeat, intuitive, and made the whole experience feel seamless and elevated. Between the two of them, we felt genuinely taken care of — like VIPs without having to name-drop anyone.

The food? Fantastic. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully plated, and clearly made with care. We beef carpaccio, crab cake, ahi tuna. 10/10, the kitchen does not disappoint.

What an amazing place with an awesome staff!!! I couldn't believe how friendly, and energetic the staff was! My buddy, and I came to have a smash burger. We were told that the cook staff wasn't there yet, but Mr. Kirk went out of his way to cook us these delicious burgers!!!! He also let us sample something that he was working on!!! Not only did he go out of his way to serve us, he then educated us on the different cheeses, and meats that they have!!! Mr. Kirk thank you for that!!! Our bartender certainly was second to none!!! It’s my first time in SC and Alchemist was the first place we ate since it’s close to our hotel. Man, we were NOT disappointed! We come from Las Vegas so we’ve had tons of good food, but nothing compares to what we had today. My husband had the grilled cheese with fig, honey and bacon and LOVED it.
