This was always my favorite McDonald’s location in Mount Vernon. Especially after steak egg and cheese bagels on N. Sandusky St. didn’t need breakfast sauce anymore three times in a row and then one time my steak needed to be bacon even though they told me it would be a second for them to make the steak since they just opened at that time…. Now the Newark Road location apparently you can only come in there for a second or third shift. Because the same lady that told me I can get my steak and she’s bagel turned into a muffin couple weeks back took my order and I had that muffin and I said I made breakfast and everything just not the bagel. So well done English muffin was a steak, egg and cheese bagel turned to a muffin. I got two regular muffin sandwiches. Those were cooked well done my steak, egg, and cheese muffin that was ordered to be well done. And there was no breakfast sauce on there as I wanted there to be, and she confirmed it an extra time. Went back in there I asked a young man if I could have breakfast there and it went to somebody else as a manager I’m guessing and then went to the grill. They double checked it. I just wanted us on the muffin on the side. Don’t know if they were accidentally doing it or if they were being a wise ass, I scooped off 2 1/2 tablespoons while sitting in my car and there were still so much on that muffin and egg non-melted or anything just so much gob of that breakfast sauce that I couldn’t eat it in my big mastiff that loves McDonald’s daily wouldn’t touch it I bet there was dump onto that sandwich.
Really cool nobody needs to care about their job when they’re a youngster starting out and their leadership doesn’t need to be leading or setting an example Trent and his twin brother are the two that run shit right the second and third shift here with one specific manager for second shift There is one lady that runs at first and second shift she rocks it and so does her staff. Every other managers out here other than the lady that knows of me on Newark Road second shift she talks to me and loves my dog the lady on that Avenue that loves my dog and then Trent and his brother everybody else that is not working under those guys and when they’re on clock is a huge huge disservice .
Most managers would take this review show it to everybody and walk it through what not to do and how to do better they would take it as a learning curve as constructive criticism to be a better location….. I bet Trent, his brother and the two female managers that are the ones that take their job series enough to address this with their staff. All everybody else keeps handing out crap service crap product and they think it’s just too big to fail or they just don’t even consider that they doing a poor job and a poor product and no more paychecks.
Lead by example. Please, and if you’re not someone from the Mero family that owns his franchise needs to because apparently they forgot the customer is number one and their management staff has forgot the customer is number one so obvious the number one not a good product or service…. Complete lack of leadership out of any of those locations not only will I no longer bring my money or my families money or my business is money. I will no longer pick up or deliver any DoorDash customer that needs it from these locations if they don’t learn and grow don’t be like a Democrat progressive actually have an open mind to consider your best is not enough. Show make your best better and do a good job by learning and growing or sit there and hope that Social Security is going to pay you for not being disabled and they’re gonna pay you just for being incompetent and incapable of actually trying….. Today, I asked ordered 2 quarter pounder deluxe meals, a number 7 meal, a double cheeseburger, and an order of nuggets for my family of 4. I confirmed the order 2 times at the speaker. I specifically requested BBQ sauce, ketchup, and napkins, because they always forget them (even when asked). I got to the 2nd window and we got our food. They did not give us any sauces, napkins, or ketchup. I asked for them again. He looked at me like I had just asked him to explain the theory of relativity. He then gave me a separate bag and said it's all in there. I checked that bag, and he had given us 2 mayonnaise packets. I asked for ketchup, BBQ sauce, and napkins for the 3rd time. I explained that we were going to a soccer game and were going to be eating outside (with 2 little kids). He then took the bag back and gave us 2 packets of ketchup and the BBQ sauce and no napkins. I asked for the 4th time and asked him for enough ketchup for 4 people eating 3 orders of fries, and some napkins. He then gave us 2 more packets (1 per person). I asked for the 5th time for the same items. He then asked me how many ketchup packets I wanted, and he put them in the bag along with napkins. Since there was a line behind us, we left. When we got to the soccer game, I found that we were given regular quarter-pounders (we were charged for quarter pounder deluxe) and only 2 napkins for our family of 4.
