WINGERS Restaurant & Alehouse — Restaurant in Mountain Home

I have just about had it with this Wingers! Things have declined over the last many months. We have been frequenting Wingers way back when there were only a few. When Wingers was in Meridian across from Fred Meyer. So it's been many years and have enjoyed many different Wingers. My husband and I stopped in for a nice lunch together this last weekend. We asked for our regular waitress Robin. But was told she wasn't working. She was sent home early. Okay? So we just asked to be seated in the bar. Dom was our server. A polite young man. Unfortunately that's all I can say nicely about our server. Once he addressed us for our drink order and finally got our drinks and popcorn (It took a bit to even get them.) He seemed quite leisurely about our needs as customers. He was working the bar as well. Which wasn't too busy at the time. Once he finally came to take our order. I asked for 2 changes to my meal. Extra lettuce for my lettuce wrap (didnt want the bun) and a side salad instead of the fries. We also asked for more popcorn. He never wrote anything down. Popcorn never came. We were never asked if we'd like our beverages refilled. Someone else finally stopped and refilled them. Didn't catch her name. I believe the womans name that brought out our food was Amber. There was no extra lettuce and mentioned to her that we had wanted more popcorn before our meal. She brought my extra lettuce as well as a bag of popcorn to take home. That was awesome. Thanks Amber. Our meals had no "presentation" to them. Carrot garnish was shriveled and white. Our glasses stayed emptied. Mind you we were sitting right next to the bar. Omg. Really. Once finished. We had been sitting there. Waiting. The fact that my husband needs a damn box. I should not have to hunt down anyone for service. One would assume the manager would at least come address our situation. Wouldn't you think? This has happened a few times. For example. Went in for my husbands Birthday. He loves the Asphalt Pie. Absolutely mentioned it to our server, Autumn, that it was his B-day and asked for them to come over and sing to him. That never happened and he never got his Asphalt pie. What a disappointment. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AT THIS LOCATION! Place seems to be falling apart! Constant staff turnover. Staff just walking out. I've witnessed the bartender adding alcohol to her own glass while working?! One girls makeup was a bit offensive. She was wearing SO much she looked like Cleopatra. Management fighting with staff. Like yelling from the kitchen area so loud we can hear it. Staff coming in and just sitting around eating or chatting while the place is busy or being on their phone. Jeeez. Are my expectaions to damn high?! Are there no expectations from staff? The only reason we continue to go is because of our favorite server ROBIN! She is amazing. Always attentive without being overbearing. Always pleasant and professional. We appreciate her standard of service! She should be training all of the other insufficient servers. Robin goes above and beyond. It seems to just come effortlessly to her. She is what keeps us coming back! Being a business owner myself. I cannot even imagine why the owner allows such a low standard. Your staff is a direct reflection of who you are....

I loved the food i really do infact i just like food and also i have to eat alot for my iron deficiency now what i found rude is that the Waitress that we got she seem nice then we start to order like i said i like food and i am not a heavy set woman or anything and we harderly get to go there because we live a hour away and it was my birthday and just got done walking around the boise zoo and wanted food felt light headed as we order i order alot of food for myself there fries and hot wings and Macaroni cheese which is really good and the waitress said is that for the whole table and i said no its for me she looks at me and said oh really are you sure and i said yes and she begins to say are you sure your not pregnant i also cant have kids because of health problems but always wanted them but just couldn't and as she said that my fiance said he wishes we could because he wants kids to but understands and as he said that she goes off saying he shouldint have kids hes to young me and him are both in are 20s its not like we are teenagers dont know what we are doing and then continues to talk about how much i can eat and were do i keep it all i sat there and had to explain myself to as in why i order alot of food for myself and my own health conditions and personal problems i hated it it felt like i was getting judged for food i loved to eat and as i had left overs and got boxs i made sure to get there mint ice cream pie because thats my favorite she comes back around and said ok its a big slice are you sharing with your fiance ? I said no its for me and she said how are you still hangry .....🤦‍♀️ we left when we got home i cried my eyes out constantly about my weight and worried if i looked fat to her or something like i said i love that place love the food but if we would to go again and got the same waitress as last time i would demand a new one i dont want to go out to eat and feel embarrassed about...

Cleanest environment! OMG and the service has been superior by far to the last 3 years!! I must not forget the Barbacoa Burger was absolutely phenomenal! The wings amazing, perfectly glazed and the flavors are rich! Totally digging this new menu and clean atmosphere! Thank you to the manager and cook for your impeccable service! Smiling and so kind, not to mention completely on top of all of their tables! Definitely coming back in less than 6 months this time! Mike the manager has gone above and beyond with his dedication to service and quality control! The restaurant is running smoother than I have seen it ran in years! His teammates definitely respect him as well as work well together! The restaurant is definitely airing and giving cohesive vibes. The food was absolutely immaculate since the menu change and the new cook! Shout out to the cook that was on duty as well as the manager. Mike and all of his servers that evening including cleaning staff and hostesses have outdone themselves completely. This is a family app approved restaurant. It does have a full bar and multiple TVs throughout the entirety of the restaurant. They have high top chairs, booth seats and bar top. They even have a “not a gambling” center on the backside.
