KFC — Restaurant in Mountain Home

Took my kids here for supper on our way home from Eastern Idaho. Stood at the counter while at least four workers walked back and forth. Not a single one acknowledged our existence. Finally a gal asked if we'd been helped yet 8-10 minutes in. I ordered a 12 piece tender meal for my kids and a 5 piece for myself. I was advised that amount of chicken would take five minutes to cook. Most of the staff there all seemed to be upset they even had customers (no surprise with the younger generation). While waiting for our food I noticed a worker in the fry room with a pressure washer and foam canister....while food was cooking in the fryer he was pressure washing the floors and counters, then soaping everything with the foam canister, and once again washing everything. WITH FOOD COOKING AND EXPOSED TO EVERYTHING!!!! NOT ONLY A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION BUT ALSO A FIRE HAZARD🤦🏼‍♂️he paused briefly to stop cleaning to touch cooked food and serve it then went back to cleaning the fry room 🤯 in the mean time of placing my order there were several other walkin and drive through customers that came in after me and got their food before me. It took 20 minutes for my five piece and an additional 8 minutes for my 12 piece. There was one tender still frozen partially and at least three pieces that were under cooked. Soda machine was extremely dirty and not all selections worked. There were a couple folks that came in while we were finishing up and ordered they stood there awhile I told them how long our food took. Turns out their food wasn't even entered correctly into the system and the prep cooks didn't even have their order. Their order was brought out shortly after the mistake was noticed. Bottom line will never return. All around...

Absolutely horrible service from start to finish Starting at the menu lady who took our order was not very kind they didn't have any diet sodas and refuse to tell us what they did have that was diet so I had to continue to ask if they had Diet Pepsi diet Mountain Dew diet tea and know they don't. Then at the window there were frowning faces all around they had our order messed up from the start tried to charge us $20 when our meal should only be $15. Then they failed to ask us if we wanted any sauces and when we got the food that we got this sauce that came on the food was spilled everywhere mashed potatoes and gravy everywhere Nashville hot sauce everywhere when we parked to eat our food we realized we didn't have any of the right food. Even though we had confirm the order twice Then I went in to get sauces because I hadn't completely realize that the food was not edible and the lady at the counter was very rude telling me that they didn't have a sauce station. After finally getting one package of sauce from behind the counter I went back out to the car only to find that the food that was in there was so hard and crispy and completely the wrong thing I decided to take the food back. The manager was nice enough but I extrornary recommend going to arby's across the street the service there is 20...

KFC Mountain Home provides poor service, horrible food and is extremely expensive for its' limited menu choices.

Drive-up order frustrated by worker and manager who became rude and surly when asked specific questions about what came with posted menu items. Unable to read the posted menu due to weather-fading and lack of lighting.

Fries were stale AND cold. Coleslaw was stale AND bad-tasting. Mashed potatoes were COLD and very peppery. Biscuits were COLD and stale. Chicken marginal quality.

Two 'combo' meals cost over $25. This is the last time I take the time to spend our money at this food location. Disappointing and sad given our desire to spend our...
