O'Malley's Sports Pub — Restaurant in Mountain View

This review is difficult to write because I have been coming to O'Malley's sports pub for years. The food is great. The bartenders are awesome and create a great ambiance for individuals to feel welcome and wanted. Unfortunately, ownership is terrible. This is not the first time the owner has made racist comments. This past weekend (1/14/23), for the Niner wildcard game, I was sitting at the bar with the owner and a really good friend. Everything was fine until it wasn't. Half an hour after the game, the owner is beyond inebriated We had been talking back and forth about the game, and his friend, who had not been there prior, had arrived. I asked a question about how the bar had been running and how business was going. For context, I am a black man. He responded, "he wished other black people would stop coming to his bar." When my friend confronted him, he told him, "he was making a joke." That is not a joke you make to anyone. I am incredibly hurt and conflicted by this comment. I encourage people of color and those that believe in equality to stop going to O' Malleys Sports pub until they are under...

Okay so I been here before with my boyfriend and his friends / family & it’s been cool. Now choosing to give one star cause the owner apparently thinks i’m trying to start fuss at this bar, after i picked up my bf while “walking” a bartender from this place to her car. I of course asked her a few questions and i was being respectful. Not bashing any women or causing fights. And you’re trying to ban me from coming in and hoping to see my boyfriend to have a good time ? Which i have done since october of last year ?? Disappointed. Do better. I get refusal of service to anyone but in this case it’s a bit unjustly. Never have I been disrespectful to you , owner of o malley’s , Edna nor Crystal. etc . It was a nice bar until this happened. Didn’t think caring for my partners safety would get me banned , I’ve seen fights here, and no one got banned …. help me understand ?

The people's here are nice. When the police come to ask if find any body stolen and breaking my car. I believe there is the camera it can work and get the picture. The peaceful need all social efforts not only police. With USA rules, it is difficult to found. I should say if u come to china and the same thing as what happened on me. The police will obviously get back the two bags to your hand. And make your satisfied and agree how china do! We believe safety USA.so haven't put specially attention.
