My son and I ordered chicken strips, waffle fries and beignets last month for a late lunch, and everything was delicious and tasted freshly prepared! The beignets were the best I've had since visiting New Orleans years ago. However, we were surprised by how some of the condiments are homemade, while others come straight out of a can or packet.

Our family of 4 opted to order again last night for dinner, and both the chicken and beignets tasted like they were fried in old oil, and one of the beignet orders was missing which Grubhub refunded us for. Some of the chicken strips were so scrawny that they couldn't really be considered strips. The coleslaw and fries were fantastic though!

The spice levels are weird as someone who enjoys spicy food. Level 3 was barely spicy last night. Some consistency here would be a solid improvement, in addition to perhaps serving fresh ranch and hot...

Staff was very friendly, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. I spent $40 on two sandwiches and 1 side of fries, and ultimately I wish I just went to Chic Fil A — The fries were nothing special, the chicken on both sandwiches was quite small, and even though we ordered a Level 1 on the spicy index (i love hot food), we both concluded that they added way too much spice. And not a flavorful well-rounded spice, just super hot to make your sandwich hard to enjoy. I love to support local shops and I’m always okay with paying more for superior quality, that’s why I’m sad to say that next time I’m craving a chicken sandwich I will just go to Chic Fil A where the sandwich will be more satisfactory and only for about 1/3 the cost...

I had such a great experience at Bird On The Run today! The chicken nuggets and french fries were absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Easily some of the best I’ve had in Pittsburgh.

The vibe here is really welcoming and fun. Mr. Cole is an amazing guy — not only does he make sure everything runs smoothly, but he even comes out to cook himself. That personal touch makes the place feel special. On top of that, his positive energy and dedication are so inspiring — you can tell he works hard both in the kitchen and in the gym. 💪

Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Pittsburgh and craving flavorful chicken with a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be...
