Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Muhlenberg Township

So there were 3 of us to dine. We ordered our beverages. First drink was wrong. The waitress clearly did not listen. Second drink was supposed to have a double shot but clearly it was not correct. Took order for the appetizer. Came out after drinks were there a while. Oops forgot plates and silverware. Waited for that... And no ranch or blue cheese dressing for wings. Finally have plates, napkins, silverware and dressing but food is cold. Eat it anyway. All gone and sit and wonder when food may be out. Comes out and one meal that was $17.99 chicken and shrimp was terrible for the price. Not sure even six small ship on plate but loaded with onions and supposed to have mushrooms but barely any. The roast beef was supposed to have extra cheese but not... and the fries were cold. Mine was chicken breast with cheese and bacon on it. I am sure my meal was the only one that came close to being called dinner.... Although they must have put the extra cheese on my dinner instead of the roast beef. Ugh. Then they bring the bill for $88.00!!!??? The waitress was charging double for one drink and charged for double shot although it seemed like a watered down soda. Could have skipped this place and gone for big seafood restaurant and had better meal. Decided o don't like this Applebee's anymore. SMH. I would give minus...

Service is great and Alex was amazing. Great personality and her work ethic was insane when it comes to her behind the bar. What I did witness that was a little disturbing was the blatant abuse of an Applebee's policy. (Gratuity added for 8 or more guests) There are a group of younger teens that frequent here on Tuesday. This last visit happened to be when they had a birthday party and there were 25 guests, all teens. They were served and had a great time from what I saw. Then it was time to pay, and 25 teens lined up at one register and paid separately! This took over an hour for one server to run 25 cards and watch as there were virtually zero tips. This is insane to me. I have nothing against teems getting together for an occasion or just to get together but to put servers, and the people that clean up after 25 teens through this for zero extra is not right. I tipped my server $30 on a $22 tab just because I see this week after week on a Tuesday, hoping something will change with this policy and let managers have the discretion to add grauity for 8 or more. " in my opinion". Thanks...

I had the worst experience with the staff at this location today. They have a new system of how they are doing takeout. I didn’t know this. So after I parked one of the girls approached me and gave me the directions. So I waited in my car for a little forgetting I had to walk up to the door and ask for the Doordash I was there to pick up. As I’m walking to the door I hear the girl who originally approached me say over the walkie to her coworker something not very nice about me. I hear it because I was walking pass this said coworker, who was handing out a curbside. In no way was this hospitable or acceptable at any place offering their serves to people. I actually feel bad for both employees that they feel entitled to talk so vulgar and harsh about people they don’t even know or the kind of day they are having or even what they are going through.
