I stopped here today for lunch. I was greeted at the counter and placed my order. The manager was at the drive-in window and heard my order. I watched him go over to the prep area where the mashed potatoes, coleslaw etc are. There were two kernels of corn on that counter top. I watched him pick up these two kernels and place them in his mouth. Then he proceeded to start make my order. I freaking lost it. I said wait just a damn minute. Did you not just put your fingers in your mouth eating that corn? He turned to me and said this is what the tongs are for. I told him I didn’t give a shit and demanded that he give a telephone number to call the Franchise owners. He went into the office next to the counter and would not come back out. The girl that took my order asked if it was ok for her to make my order. I said yes. But after thinking about what else has this guy touched and then to think about it no one was wearing gloves I threw the meal away. Also on the way out the garbage was overflowing. I ended up throwing my entire meal away because of how unsanitary this place is. I know this sounds like a made up story but trust me it’s not. I even went to the Shillington store to get a number to call. When I spoke to the manager there and described this person he said it sounded like that would be Shawn or Sean who was the shift manager. One thing I did notice about the Shillington store is they wear plastic gloves when handling food. I know where I...
Read moreIt was 91 degrees inside this store today. This was problem #1 The HVAC system is broken, and for some reason the employees seem to be ok with that.
The tray that the food come on was soaking wet, There were many flies in the store. It took almost 10 minutes after I got to the counter for anyone to even acknowledge my presence, however there were many employees in the back seemingly having a conversation. After that, they didn't have ANY sandwiches, They were out of mashed potatoes, and the lady seemed like me trying to order the things they were out of was an annoyance to her, not me.
Also, Dirty dirty dirty. Not one surface does not have some sort of "film" on it.
Also, to top this all off, While we were eating, one of the employees was tending to a group of 8+ noisy children in the lobby. It appeared as though she was running a sort of day-care in her "spare time at work" I am quite curious as to what the manager thinks about this, however I highly doubt there even was one. If they have one, he was out at the bar during all of this.
This location needs to be closed. It is horrible - do...
Read moreA year ago, went to this KFC location and ordered through the drive-thru. They asked us to wait in the parking lot as some food was going to take a few minutes. We waited, waited, and waited. I finally went into the store after 15 minutes and they completely forgot about us and never made the food. I waited while they made it and the woman manager had an attitude. Flash forward to today and decided to give the restaurant another try as I had a relative from out of town that wanted to go to KFC. The dine-in portion of the restaurant was closed due to maintenance as the sign said so I went through the drive-thru as also requested on the sign. Ordered $62 worth of food on and the gentlemen asked me to wait in the parking lot as the nuggets would take a few minutes. The order did come out and he did bring the food to the car. Get home 15 minutes away and no fries in the bag which is on the order and yes, you guessed it, no nuggets. The very item they told us was holding up the order. This is the second time I've been disappointed and it is safe to say that I will not be eating at any KFC again no...
