This place is Nasty just plain nasty with service !! It’s nothing special going on at Brewlands. This place is extremely pricey, and they have the worst unwelcoming attitudes and they really expect you to tip them. They do not care about you. The staff is beyond rude and the owners uphold them just bc they need them to run the establishment. Most of them been there awhile and that’s why they are so comfortable with being rude. I truly hate that I came to patronize this business. They do not care about the people, they only care about the dollar amount that you spend.I could write a book on the owner Michael and the Robo cop security (the black guy) about the way I was treated. I was falsely accused of not paying a tab when in reality I was providing care to a intoxicated young woman !! When I was approached by their Robo cop security. I was approached with a nasty I have authority attitude about an open tab,I explained to him that all of my tabs was paid by others. That was not the answer apparently he was looking for he then begin to threaten me to be thrown out all bc he was loud and wrong about me owing money. I then asked to speak with the owner whom I learned was present from others that I was surrounded by. Boy was this a big mistake. The owner approached me and we began to talk. The entire time I was speaking with the owner I was treated like a number !! I will NEVER return to this place EVER again. I purchased many drinks, my date bought many drinks for US , and the people I was around bought US many drinks. The vibe was great. When I spoke to the owner Michael about the service I received he was so worried about having a worker that was cocky with no customer service skills to cover the shifts instead of how I felt embarrassed, belittled, and disrespected!! My concerns was irrelevant to him. I was offered a free drink, however I did not want a drink I wanted my issue to be addressed and not sugar coated. I even paid for a drink that I didn’t take one sip of. After speaking with the manager and him giving me his nonchalant attitude towards my concern that’s when I Decided to give my drink that I purchased back because of the way I was treated. The owner was so impaired (drunk or high) that he couldn’t comprehend what I was trying to explain to him. (He was definitely impaired, but I’m not judging!!! Handle YOUR business) This was my second encounter with this particular robo cop trying to throw around his weight !!! Threatening to get you thrown out is how he deals with a situation All while the owner is trying to normalize his behavior to keep his establishment going…. I wish I could give this place negative stars 😳 The way I was treated tonight while spending my hard earn dollars, helping a young lady in need, as well as trying to meet my personal needs was unsatisfactory!!! I do not recommend this place. Gooooooo to Linksters in downtown Lakeland or it’s another really nice bar down the road next to Outback on South Florida. If you go to this place do not expect to feel welcomed 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽they all have VERY nasty attitudes. I’ve never seen the bartenders smile and I have been going to this place over 4-5 years !!! Never again will I attend anything that says Brewlands, Wally’s, or anything else that the owner opens nor will I recommend this establishment to anyone. Me and 2 other bike riders road in on Harleys bikes , we had on Harley's shirts noughting vulgar on the shirts As soon as we sat down the bartender comes to us and tells us we are not allowed in their because of our shirts. He said he would sell us shirts if we wanted to stay. He said they look the other way on bike night but the othe 6 days it's a no because he said it starts to much fights. Well , shirts dnt start fights people do . We bikers are the most easy people to get along with and from bike week from sturges to Dayton there are no fighting problems. It must be there other people there that dnt like us and that place rather have them than us . We left. Oh man, when I first visited this place I had such high hopes from all the reviews. I was highly disappointed. I went with a group of 4 other people and we all had a bad time. The night we went it wasn't busy at all and we were almost entirely ignored the whole time. There were plenty of servers around, but they were too busy having their own conversations to serve any patrons. One of my friends actually had to go up to the bar to ask for service and they were so freaking rude. They acted like WE were being rude for interrupting THEIR conversation. I was baffled.
