I would have given this place 5 stars because in the past when my husband and I have gone it was great. Not that this time was horrible but.....my husband ordered a New York Strip and he wanted it Medium. I got a 6oz. Sirloin Medium as well. When his Strip came back it was over cooked. The manager (Brooklyn) came around and asked how everything was. My husband wasn't going to say anything about his strip being over cooked but she could tell something was up. She asked him if his meat was cooked the way that he likes and that's when he told her. She let us keep that steak and she went back to the kitchen and told them to make him another one. That one came back and she waited for him to cut into it. The 2nd one was more done than the 1st one. I realized that since strips are thinner, they are probably harder to cook. So he ended up ordering a sirloin instead, because my sirloin came back just right. (As you can see from the pics that I attached) She sent it back again and brought back a sirloin that was cooked medium. It may have taken 3 times to get a steak that was cooked the way that he liked it but Brooklyn didnt stop until he was happy. She took our appetizer off of the bill and of course we didnt have to pay for the 2 Strips that were overcooked (my dog at good on this day) She also gave us a card that gives us $25 off of our next meal, for the inconvenience. That is the only bad experience that we had and through it all....the manager was very apologetic and accommodating. Their magaritas are amazeballs and their food is really good too. I wouldn't recommend the New York strip unless you like your meat medium...
Read moreOur visit was very disappointing. We drove an hour to meet some family that drove an hour from their direction as well. Several people had recommended this place to us. We waited 20 minutes to get seated, which actually wasn't bad for how busy it was but then waited another 20 minutes to get acknowledged at our table. My husband ended up hunting down a drink menu so that we could order everything at once when the server came over. The table ordered Spin/Artichoke dip, a chicken Parmesan dinner, a steak with sauteed mushrooms, and a tenderloin sandwich w/fries. The dip was decent though the cheese on top was not melted at all. The Chicken Parm was meh with a lemony marinara and the chicken was a giant chicken breast but not a cutlet, as one would expect. The tenderloin was a nice thin piece of pork but was super greasy and the fries were wilty steak fries. The steak was very undercooked and they forgot the mushrooms. Other than when we first ordered, we didn't see our server again until we were almost done. We had to keep asking other servers in the areas for drinks, the missing mushrooms, and pickles for the sandwich. The manager was super nice, though. She came by to see how things were and we were kind but honest about not having the best experience and that it was unlikely that we would return. The manager seemed genuinely disappointed that we had such a bad experience and attempted to rectify the situation. 5 stars for...
Read moreI'll open with this restaurant's name would be better suited as 'Average Joe's' (Dodgeball reference intended) instead of Amazing. Please do not let the other reviews pull you to quickly as they did me.
The location is nothing to write home about, which is not the most important thing about a dinning establishment but it helps sometimes and would have in this scenario.
The best quality this has going for it was the service. Our server as well as the rest of the staff including the manager were superb. They were timely, attentive and very polite.
The downfalls however outweigh the above. Firstly, the price was higher than it should have been for the quality as well as quantity of food you are given. Which was sub-par in taste compared to something as basic as a Applebees or Texas Roadhouse which the owner used to manage prior to opening up this place.
The plates are also very meager in size compared to what most restaurants in the area provide and by no means am I personally a 'big' eater but I felt shorted after getting the bill.
The building is not overly decorated and has no 'up's' that keep you looking around or entertained. It's bland, frankly put.
I do understand that perhaps this place was different pre-covid but that is just a speculation as I understand that covid has placed a lot of stress on most local run business.
Overall, not a bad place. Boring and slightly overpriced. I personally have no interest...
