Beautiful and tasty Thai food! Enjoyed a mother and daughter lunch for two on a cool spring day in April. We both had delightful lunches. The lunch included a vegetarian ginger broth, a spring roll, rice and an entree along with jasmine tea. The broth was clear and flavorful. The veggie rolls were crispy and tasty. The entrees were delicious and tastefully spiced with minimal sauces and without extra fats or sugars. The veggies were expertly cut and artfully presented and the meal was a giant hit! The service staff was friendly, polite and demure. The atmosphere is clean, cozy and inviting. We enjoyed a sticky rice dessert --- but we need more experience with Thai desserts to properly rate the sweet treats we enjoyed. Great vegetarian choice for locals or travelers to Muncie! We will be back! I had a gift card for Tuppee Tong Thai and went during lunch hour. Upon walking in I was greeted by Mei, the host/server/cashier. The atmosphere was very comfortable, it smelled nice and was very clean. There weren't many people inside when I dined.

The server suggested I try the Thai tea, she described it as being like Chai tea without the spice - it was cold, sweet (not too sweet) and delicious (it IS DAIRY). She helped me choose my meal, I don't like very spicy food. From 1-10, my food was spice level 5. I think it is called The Green Curry, it has basil. Prior to that, I received a Thai Soup. It was great as well. The wait time: Walk-in to drink and menu, 2 minutes. Order food to soup being served, 2 minutes. Soup being served to main dish being served, As Soon as I finished my soup the server came from the kitchen with my main dish. Everything on the table was VERY DELICIOUS! I was not disappointed by any means. On top of that, the service was AMAZING! Mei was very attentive, helpful and made me feel comfortable.

We ordered the pad thai and drove almost an hour to the restaurant to eat in. The place was clean and small, as they sat us in the front room. I have no idea how big the back room is because it was dark and closed off, even though it was 5 -6pm on a Friday night. We’d been craving chicken pad thai for awhile and were hoping it was traditional yet without too much fish paste. We were rewarded with two decent sized square plates with the spice on one side and peanuts on the other. All the right flavors and textures were there and none of the wrong ones. It was truly good pad thai! My only complaint was that I could have eaten more. It was a fair portion but I’m a big eater and often like to take leftovers home to remember my meal.
