Rally's — Restaurant in Muncie

I love Rally's food (it's one of my favorite fast food chains,) so it's extremely disappointing to go here. I've tried over and over, through the past three (almost four,) years to "give it another try" and every time, I'm just disappointed. This specific establishment is absolutely terrible at choosing employment and it's so dirty inside that I no longer feel comfortable ordering food there. Not to mention the wait is insane. I sat in drive through for about 20 minutes with no response over the receiver (nothing but static and no reply after the initial "welcome,") and ended up having to pull out of drive through and go in. It took an extra 10 minutes after coming in (with another customer stating that "it'll be a minute,") before even being asked for my order. Previously I've had issues with the cooks (though thankfully not this time,) messing up orders, slopping food together, and just ruining the food. This time I have issues with the cashiers and the individuals that bag the food. The cashiers left off a lot of items that were asked for and the individual bagging left items out of my order that were actually on the receipt. I live on the east side so this Rally's was the closest!!! I'm new to the area so I don't know what all Muncie has to offer... When you're unsure, go with what you know!!! I know that I LOVE Rally's fries so googled Rally's in Muncie...!!!... We waited in line for about 12-15min before we were able to order with no cars in the other Lane and two cars ahead of us... I am in search of a job closeby so I thought maybe they are short-handed and need some help!!! We get to the drive-thru window and the cashier states exactly what I'd assumed!!! I then advised her I had experience in fast food from team member to assistant manager!!! I gave her my name and told her I would put in my application as soon as I arrived at home!!! When getting home for the evening, my fiancee was heading to work so we separated our food, and noticed we were missing what we went for specifically!!! Our fries!!! Our sandwiches were on point and worth the wait any day but my craving for fries still remains!!! I tried to call only to find the busy signal from 8pm until close!!! Personally, I’ve worked in fast food before and I know how overwhelming a drive thru job can be. However, there’s been multiple occasions where this Rally’s in particular has gotten my order incorrect, served old food (the taste alone was unsettling) and it has gotten me sick. I know with COVID going on, there’s probably many online orders and drive thru customers that come through. I understand how difficult a job like that can be, especially with the $ wage we’re given. Although, I don’t understand how difficult it can be to throw out old food and make new batches. Old food causes people to get sick. I’ve always said if I won’t eat the food I’m serving customers, I won’t serve it. It’s pretty hit or miss, and I’m assuming it’s due to being busy/the workers on duty. I just hope this improves soon! Getting sick from food is a safety hazard, and you never know who is going to be eating the food you serve in the drive thru. Imagine a child getting sick?
