Party of 20 for a Birthday: Yes this can be very overwhelming for wait staff on a busy Saturday. We did call ahead. They were quick and courteous in getting us to our three tables in one area. One table had 12 seated. That table had excellent service. The waitress was quick, courteous, got every drink, meal order, refills, all perfect. Everything went 100%. One booth had one waitress with two people. This waitress also had the other table with 6. The booth of two , she handled perfectly, except the bill was all wrong. At the table with three couples she had, the drinks were all wrong, they had to ask for their refills three times, one person didn't get her meal until 30 min after the entire party, and her second side came after 6 people at the other table left. Then the 8 people she waited on had to wait 1 hour and 10 min for their bills to be straightened out. She blamed the cook, she blamed the computer, she blamed the other waitress, everyone but herself. The 8 that had to wait were becoming very upset, and the to go cartons were not brought, nor the refills, yet the two managers, one male, one female did nothing to defuse the situation. They didn't even offer any heartfelt apologies for the entire debacle. Next birthday we go to Texas Road house, or Richmond Red Lobster. Truly a 50/50 loss situation. The tip...
Read moreThe food was really good. Although we didn't get the biscuits as they are advertised. We only got 4 for biscuits for a party of 5, never got any more, and was told "these were all I could get because they keep running out". That was upsetting enough, especially as we had kids that were hungry and were getting impatient.
By the end of our time, our 1 yo was extremely tired and getting fussy, so we decided it was time to head home, although we had not finished our meal. When the server was asked for carry out boxes, she brings back these tiny boxes that were about 3x4 or 4x5..... not big enough for snow crab legs, that I hadn't been able to enjoy. When we asked about a bigger box, she claimed that was the only size she had available. Making trying to get the legs in this tiny box quite difficult, even after breaking them apart.
I understand that it was our choice to leave early, but I wouldn't want to sit in a restaurant with someone else's fussy kid, so I was try to be respectful. However, that does not excuse the lack of service that the restaurant was able to provide.
With this being my first time ever to this location, I'm not entirely sure I would go back. If there is ever a time I do go back, I would only hope that they are better managed and stocked than what they...
Read moreFirst of all I have went to this Red lobster probably 25 times in my life, that said my dining experience was terrible! We went for my birthday. For starters the cheddar Bay biscuits should just be bay biscuits no cheddar at all! Very bad decision on Red lobsters part!!!! We ordered Surf n turf, I asked to substitute the rock lobster tail instead of Maine lobster tail.... can't be done! Had to order an extra one she didn't know how much it would cost, when our meals came I got the ultimate feast and a extra lobster tail. So my lobster tail that cost $16.99 sat and got cold until my surf n turf came! My husband didn't want to eat until my food came as it was my birthday! Paid extra for the crispy brussel sprouts side... horrible! Fast forward took 15 minutes to get change for paying for our meal, we waited near the front of restaurant after 10 minutes. When she gave us our change she apologized and asked me if I wanted my birthday sundae as we were leaving!!!! We actually still tipped her!!!? The grand total of this mess was $148.00!!!!!! We had tickets to a music venue and didn't have the time to do anything about it! We also did not want to ruin the night anymore than Red lobster had already done! I am getting ready to call corporate after this review! Am I...
