UPDATE July 3rd 2025 We put in an online order. Line was way too long to pick up in the drive-through. We went inside to get it, and the place was a mess. Pictures added Not what you expect from Chick-fil-A. Took my son to the bathroom that was completely dirty see picture and there was no hand soap. a fact I brought to their attention when I saw workers leave the bathroom. They suggested me off. Seems it was no worry for them the people making the food had soap yo wash their hands after going to the bathroom. Let alone cleaning the bathroom or the floor behind the counter. Not like they wear overly busy. Plenty of workers walking around even the cashier was kicking the straws around on the ground. They need to clean up their act. I once was impressed by this store but I'm not anymore.
UPDATE 6-29-24 Ate in this time. Saturday after 1pm. All of the food was yummy. As you can tell from. the picture Chick-fil-A is our son's favorite place to eat. The cashier/order-taker had a tendency to get distracted by other employees when we were ordering. To tell them about customers. She appeared to be gossiping and unprofessional as she could not take our order before she had to talk to them.
I still believe that fries and fruit should come with the kids' meals. The small fruit cup is not really worth $3 when it is mostly green apples. Had 2 orange slices, 2 strawberry slices, and 3 small blueberries as well. Point being, I shouldn't have noticed that and wouldn't have if it wasn't so mediocre.
My chicken was smaller than the bun it was on. All this being said, the food was still great in taste.
Mostly clean location even though I will still not let our son play in the playground as it doesn't appear kept up and children older than toddlers are allowed to play in there despite the posted sign. Think staff and management could do better with this.
The last negative would be that the men's bathroom could be cleaner. Water was really hot, not a bad thing, but it was too hot for my son to wash his hands. the auto function doesn't allow me to cool the water. A step stool for kids would be nice, so I didn't have to hold him up to wash his hands when he could do it if he could reach. Chick-fil-A could be more child friendly in this way. You supply mouth wash but not a stool for the kids?
Previous Review Food is always great here. Wish the waffle fries would not be mostly small broken pieces. This visit, the chicken, was a bit more brown than normal. i burnt but cooked long enough to be just a bit dry. Everything was still delicious. Drive thru went fast. we had to be the 15th car in line at 5 pm. on a Friday, and we only waited maybe 5 minutes in the drive thru before...
Read moreIt has been several days now since I placed a very large catering order. I placed an order for upwards of $1200. The lady that helped me originally was pleasant when I placed the order but when the day came to deliver it was a disaster. The order was split into two parts. One at 11 and one at 11:30. Both orders were late. It was a very time sensitive order and that was made very clear. We were catering for local teachers and they had very short lunch periods. I called the restaurant to see where the driver was or what was going on and I basically got no response. The driver showed up almost 20 mins late with the first order and I was told "Sorry we had a lot of orders today" which was of absolutely no use to the teachers that had 3 mins to eat when the order was brought in. The second order also arrived late but given that the first order got there roughly the time the second one should have it didn't matter all that much. When I called to speak with the manager about the order she was unavailable. I called a second time and also unavailable. When we finally connected she blames me for the order going poorly because I called to confirm the order in the morning, I asked what time it was scheduled for, and that was apparently enough to throw them off. I was offered no apology. I asked for my receipts that were never given to me and I was told they were emailing them, they were not. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but not taking responsibility for your screw ups is the...
Read moreThe Muncie Chick Fil-A is yet another reliably good and friendly CFA restaurant with smiles, service and the excellent fare I love. This time it was chicken strips (the spice blend and juicy chicken is what draws me here), those crispy waffle fries with just a little skin left, and my favorite drive through unsweetened iced tea. Kudos to the restaurant for putting the Splenda in for me so I don’t have to try to do that while pulling out of the drive through lane. Can we talk about the ketchup packets? They are brilliant little packages that allow you to either have a little dipping bowl or squeeze out as you prefer. Then there is that magic CFA efficiency with the lanes. Even when they are very long, they go fast and so you don’t mind. The real magic at CFA however is the customer service they embed in staff The classic “My pleasure” response is something I wish I could find everywhere. It is why I seek this CFA out wherever I am, and why I am sad when it is not available in Sundays while at the same time appreciating the value they put on staff to close that day. Obviously this means that I am Red level on the app, through which the various owners of the restaurants I frequent are surprising me with occasional rewards and little videos and other messages. Wish list - allow me to hook it to my card rather than just load funds CFA is...
