I hate to write this but it is what it is. Nobody reads reviews for chains anyway, but...
I visit Starbucks twice, sometimes three times a day and the line is always backed up. Today, we visited despite already being frustrated with the incredibly slow service and due to the fact the parking lot was inaccessible because of the line, we parked in alley. The attendant in the drive through yelled at my wife that we weren't parked in parking spots. Mind you, lots of people park all over the area because of the slow line. My wife tried to talk to him upon entering the store and he ignored her. At which point to she approached him in the the drive through to try to explain the issue that people park all over because if employees like him that sit and talk and talk holding up the line.
I entered the store and blew up on the guy. That wasn't okay. I also feel it's inappropriate to make people wait 20 if not 30 minutes in a line because you feel the need to have conversations.
side note I too have dealt with this individual in the drive through and it was frustrating when I was in hurry, and even more in a hurry after having to wait almost 30 minutes in line only for him to be a prankster and pull away my drinks and straws several times as tried to receive them.

Read moreUpdate 8/20/24..... I placed a mobile order quoted to be ready in 4-7 minutes. I was .5 miles away so made it within the time frame. My extra hot coffee wasn't even room temp. I get this same drink every morning from the other location on McGalliard without issue..always served extra hot in my personal mug. The blame was put on the fact that it was sitting there on the counter, with a lid. McGalliard doesn't even have lids for their personal cup holders yet it is never cold or tepid. Mind you, I was there in plenty of time. So it was remade, wrong. Rather than deal with more excuses, I'm now drinking a coffee I didn't order and overpaid for as it doesn't have the additives. I'd understand more if they were busy but there was 1 car in the drive thru and one patron already served inside. Huge disappointment for an afternoon pick me up that is simply a let down.
They are always very friendly and prompt with making mobile orders. Every time I step inside, I'm welcome with a greeting. This location is clean and the bathrooms are as well. The atmosphere...
Read moreQuick service and friendly... parking is minimal...and drive through makes one exit blocked....prob wont go back because of that.
Update Sept 2024 Met my friend here for a quick drink and a bite to eat.
We were the lunch.. so many flies that I was grossed out and couldn't eat without having one land around me, on me, next to me, flying in front of me... and the crumbs on every single surface in the place.. floors, tables, chairs.. and the gross leather chairs.. either clean them or get rid of them Who wants to sit in a chair that looks like your cousins cats sneezed all over the leather. The side tables has broken areas that were missing.
Starbucks used to be the place to go. Now. I would be embarrassed to take anyone in this place.
No one is that busy. I'd close my doors before I allowed people to sit in that filth. If the inside looks like this what do the machines your coffee comes out... do they get cleaned?
I'll stay home.
