Last Christmas my daughter got a Jr. Frosty key tag... one free Jr Frosty per visit with any purchase. Hill Rd is the closest location so we've been there several times, UNFOTUNATELY! Here are my last 4 visits within the past two months. 1) Had a cargo trailer behind my truck so I had to walk in. Pulled in to park and saw three employees standing outside the back door of the building. The only other vehicles their were all parked in the handicap spots which are near the back door. Apparently at this location the handicap signs mean employee parking instead. They all clearly saw me pull in and park (hard to miss a truck and trailer in an almost empty parking lot), to the point I was being stared at as I walked up to the building as if I was interrupting their chat time. Getting a feel for how this was gonna go I had my phone ready when I walked in. I stood there for over four minutes with video rolling before an employee finally came through the back door, looked at me, picked something up off the counter and walked back outside, PRICELESS! Stood there another two minutes before leaving unattended. Interesting to note that while I was stared at walking in not one person looked my way when I left. 2) Remembering what occurred the previous time I already had my phone/ video rolling when I pulled up to the drive through. Two cars in front of me and with video proof can tell you I was in line for just over 23 minutes. 3) Again with video rolling pulled in the drive-through for nothing more than Frostys. Not serving vanilla anymore (apparently replaced with Strawberry) at least at this location, they were out of strawberry as well as chocolate. The only option was pumpkin spice. Worse was the fact that when I stopped at the window to pay the music was blasting out of the kitchen so loud you literally can't hear what the cashier was saying to me on the video. 4) Pulled in to get my girl a chili and a frosty. I was not surprised to once again see several employees standing out back and the handicapped spots full as is the norm here. What caught me off guard is the fact that they were passing around a joint. Yes, you read that right, they were getting high, in the parking lot, with uniforms on and didn't give a damn that I was filming them. Obviously owners/managers don't check cameras or they simply don't care. What's worse, as I pulled away from the speaker one of the employees pulled away and left their garbage (bags and cups) laying in the parking lot. That speaks volumes about the type of people employed here. This place is just atrocious...
Read moreWent there earlier today and had to wait almost a half hour for my food. The drive thru ordering system was so old that I could barely understand anything the person taking my order said. I had to pull to the window to make sure they knew what my order was. They didn't even ask for payment until after I'd been told to pull around, so I had to wait while a woman booked into the building with my card and back. I never received a receipt, even after requesting one. Not to mention that the courier for the food was smoking, which is actually illegal to do when you're working with food and around possible children like at a fast food restaurant. she also basically threw my food at me. I ordered two asiago ranch chicken club sandwiches, one in a meal. The fries were cold and undercooked, evident by how mushy they were. They were also unsalted. I usually ask for my sandwiches without lettuce or tomato, with extra ranch- something that is usually really easy to do. Instead, I got one club with literally nothing but the chicken and bread, and MAYBE some ranch? I couldn't tell if there was any on it or not by taste, but I assume they at least smacked it with the despenser because of the unappealing white spot of whatever on the bread. It didn't taste much like ranch, more like the thick unprocessed skim from milk- bland and unpleasant. The second one had no ranch and was cold, but at least it had cheese and bacon. I don't think I'll be eating at Wendy's for quite some time. I usually only get it rarely due to it's higher pricing. This meal in all it's crappiness was $13.56. I could've gotten the same thing at McDonald's for $5.50, and have actually cooked food! Forgot that fresh not frozen bull if I'm not even getting...
Read moreDO NOT go to this Wendy's!! Drive thru order was fish sandwich. From the picture on the order board I could see there was pickles on this sandwich. I asked the employee if there were pickles on it, she said, "yes, there is." I'm allergic to pickles.... I asked for one without pickles. She repeated my order to me, I stated again, "No pickles, right?" Affirmative. She explained that I was to drive around to the front door (opposite side of where I was) to pick up my food. Weird, but ok... I got my food, drove away. When I got into the bag to get my sandwich, I noticed the bag looked wet. It was grease. Half of the bag was grease soaked!! The only thing in the bag was my sandwich. As I grabbed my sandwich, the wrapper was so greasy, it was slippery!! I had to wipe it down in order to handle it!! I also noticed a strong pickle smell!! My first bite tasted as if it had been doused in pickle juice!! I opened the sandwich, sure to find pickles.... no. Even if the cook had put them on the sandwich, then noticed the special order and removed them, there wouldn't have been this strong of a pickle taste. Trust me, I've seen it all in restaurants with my allergy. I understand that it might be habit to just throw some on. This wasn't the case!! Especially without any pickles as evidence, I was forced to conclude that they did this on purpose!! I hope management sees this and...
