Buster's Place — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

WOW...can't believe I have not left a review of this place. Been coming here since 1992 and while many may consider Buster's to be a "dive" and drive by without giving the place a second look, it is a MUST VISIT dive. The newest owners Peter & Kathy Moret have taken Buster's to the next level. The burgers (IMHO) are classic and delicious, prepared the way YOU want, with crinkle cut fries. My favorite burger...period. The weekly specials also display the creativity and style of Peter. A couple of weeks ago there was the fried pork loin "burger" with white barbecue sauce...pretty darn tasty! When BBQ ribs are on the menu...you need to run and get a share of Peter's BBQ prowess!!!

If you're looking for a laid back burger joint, come as you are kind of place, you will appreciate Buster's. Looks kinda like a biker bar from the outside, but has an ample seating area for diners on the inside. Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd were on the sound system. Our server was very pleasant, but there was one woman serving who was very loud and overly flirtatious. Besides that, everything was as expected. Crinkle cut fries with chili, sour cream and jalapenos were great. The Buster's salad did the job with no surprises. Burger wasn't the best, but very good. Will definitely try this verrrrry casual place out again to sample the smoked wings. Was asked no less than 4 times if I wanted another Diet Coke. Sure wish this joint had a full bar! My husband mentioned this place today while remembering his younger days, so we went today, mind you we are foodies and love eating out at different restaurants and after 13 years together I cannot believe he didn't mention this place 13 years ago! He stated that the burger he ordered was as good as he remembered from 20 years ago and he also got the chili cheese fries, that we both thoroughly enjoyed. I got the smoke wings in sweet BBQ sauce with blue cheese dipping sauce, ya'll don't pass up this place, you know what they say about places that some may consider a "whole in the wall'.
