Captain D's — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

So we order 4 deluxe seafood platters . 1st one had mac and cheese and French fries. 2 thru 4 had greens beans and corn on the cob. We got a pepsi. A order of funnel sticks and a side of Cole slaw. When we got home and open the 2 bags we did not get our 3 ears of corn. We also got a mixture of sauces. I call up there and speak to a man and he can't find the order. And no we did not get a receipt but the was 48.50 and my husband gave the woman a 20 and 2 tens and 9 ones. He even told her she could keep the 50 cents. While waiting my husband told her it's been about 20 years since we have ate there also he was tired from fishing . she asked what fish he caught and said she needed to come to our house to eat. They also discussed covid shots . she said she had to get one to go back to work. He then told her we have gotten both of ours. She gave us our food and said have a blessed nite. And we left.. The food was great but just make sure u get a receipt and check your order of food is correct. I even explained to them what employees looked like and they just kept saying we must have gone to other one but we didn't. The square is lite up blue..i know where we went . I know it's a lot over 3 ears of corn. But I paid for 3 sides that...

Ordered 2 family seafood feast, extra order of shrimp, extra order of stuffed crab. Feast comes with 2 sides, ordered 2 cole slaws, fries and okra as sides. Oder came to within a few cents of $80.00. I live in Walter Hill, store was on Broad in Murfreesboro. As soon as we started opening everything to eat, there were NO SIDES, NO EXTRA ORDER OF SHRIMP, NO EXTRA STUFFED CRABS AND 8 PIECES OF FISH MISSING. Called the store immediately and told them. He took my name and said I could come in ANY TIME and pick them up due to the distance from my home. Went back to pick them up and was told that I did not pick them up fast enough, and I went within a week, that I was getting NOTHING, none of the sides, none of the extras that I had ordered, nothing. I told the woman that I had been told due to distance that I was allowed to pick it up.. She said no. I had my receipt and told her that I called the same night as the order, still NO. I tpld her then that I wanted the missing items or my money refunded. She said NO again and turned around and walked off. No food, no money. Either s bunch of thieves or s bunch of liars. Either way, I will NEVER use this...

I had a taste for something seafood and I didn't want to spend two hours with a restaurant process. I ordered the talapia and rice with blackened seasoning. It tasted surprisingly balanced and flavorful. I love food to be temperature hot but it was warm at best. I don't know if they have a microwave and could have heated it up, but perhaps I'll ask next time. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a Saturday evening and there were only four customers in the restaurant. We need some star power and more live performance in Murfreesboro to improve the weekend vibes.
