I always come here to get sausage biscuits. They are soft and fluffy. Today I came and I got a biscuit that was clearly hard and just didn’t look good at all. I spoke up (as any paying customer should) and told the worker with the mustache that the biscuit APPEARED to be hard and burnt. He took it upon himself to correct me and say it wasn’t “burnt”. The most abhorrent behavior I’ve ever experienced from an employee here. How can you tell a customer what their perception is based on how your company normally prepares the food? Preposterous. Based on this experience, I won’t go back. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at Donut Country since moving to Murfreesboro. I won’t go back and I will no longer take family members when they come to visit. I guess the employee isn’t privy to taking corrective actions when a customer asks for a simple request. He could have easily apologized like most employees are trained to do, and fixed the very apparent issue. This happened around 9:25am on July 31st.

I’ve had Donut Country many times as coworkers or customers have brought them in and their glazed donuts are excellent! For the first time ever (I’ve lived here 7 years) I decided to go through the drive through. It was nearly 20 minutes with 3-4 cars ahead of me and I still had to pull off and wait for my sandwich. The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was extremely greasy, but decent and the hot chocolate was AWFUL. Also, even waiting for the cocoa to cool, it was molten lava boiling hot, so if you have kids you’ll need to wait 15-20 minutes to let that cool. The sprinkled donuts didn’t taste fresh. If this had been my first ever donut country experience - it would be a one star review, but like I said, I’ve had the donuts so many times and they’re typically excellent! I will say to stick to the donuts but don’t order the food/ drinks.

Apparently this place has been here forever. The inside is just big enough for a handful of tables and they also have a little bar to sit at. You'll see the elderly locals gathered around their hot coffee. Dad's on Saturday mornings will stop by to pick up a dozen donuts to take back home. It's a busy little spot that's open 24/7. I came on a Saturday morning with my wife. We had a sweet little high school girl serve us. I had a large coffee (free refills) and a donut plus a ham biscuit. My wife had a chocolate milk, a donut and a ham and cheese biscuit. All of which was only $13. If I had ordered the same meal at a Starbucks, it would have been $30 or more. It's a great local spot in the Boro. Support local businesses! Especially those with great service and fair prices.

I have been frequenting DoCo almost religiously for the past three years, and there are several reasons for that. The 24-hour service makes it a perfect study spot, the fantastic food has made it a great place to stop for breakfast on the way in to work, and the incredible service has made a mark that no other donut shop has managed to match. Their discount for MTSU students is extremely helpful, but really it's the people that keep me coming back.

The most consistent time that I frequent this place is on Wednesday nights; my college ministry meets on these nights throughout the semester, after every meeting we find ourselves at DoCo. We get donuts, play card games, chat, and sometimes find ourselves there for hours at a time. We're always reluctant to leave, and a huge reason behind that is the utterly stellar service that we receive every time. The staff is always friendly, often chats with us and recognizes those of us who come every week, and are willing to put up with our (often loud) investment in card games. There is one woman in particular who is almost always manning the counter on Wednesday nights, and she never makes us feel like a bother; in fact, she welcomes us like no other restaurant would! Kirstyn knows me and several of my friends by name, shares stories with us, listens our chats, and all of this while still staying on task and serving every customer who comes through the door or drive thru. Her service has the power to genuinely improve a person's day; just a few weeks ago I had a night where I wasn't able to come to the usual social time with my friends, and I ended up driving through on my way home at an unholy hour night (because at this point, it's not a Wednesday without a DoCo donut!). Kirstyn not only empathized with me and listened to me complain about my workload, but managed to turn an otherwise disappointing night into a sweet memory with the donut she recommended and the words of encouragement passed along. The entire Wednesday night crew is unmatched in their service; thank you DoCo crew!

Some of my favorite memories in the past three years have been made at this little donut shop; I genuinely can't...

I love Donut Country’s donuts! The things is, I’ve never actually been to Donut Country before today. These are the donuts that I find myself treated to due to their presence at office meetings and other occasions. For someone that has never purchase a Donut Country donut it is amazing how many of them I’ve actually had, and they have always been fresh and delicious! Today one of our clients stopped by our office, and he brought a box of assorted Donut Country donuts with him. While my buddy and I were enjoying them I made the comment that we should have donuts for lunch. That is when he informed me that Donut Country actually serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches! I didn’t need to hear any more, I immediately informed him that we would be going there for lunch, and we did! We each has a chicken salad sandwich with chips, and they were delicious! We decided to split and egg salad sandwich and it was one of the best egg salad sandwiches that I’ve ever had! Both the chicken salad and egg salad were very fresh, but that was to be expected as I had been told that they make everything fresh every day. We dined in the store and found the store to be nice and clean, and the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. These guys do a great job and I look forward to returning for lunch in the...

*Large order review: other service is great and no complaints but be warned. I came in three days prior to place a large Mother's Day order. I paid in advance as well. Upon arriving they could not find the order because they set it out with my donut order and forgot to make it. I am hearing the entire conversation. The manager, I believe proceeds to make an excuse and cover it up as they have been busy and wanted them to be fresh. She said it would take 10 minutes. I even arrived later than 10:30am to be sure it would be ready. They WERE NOT making the order. They had forgotten. Rule 1 in service...don't make excuses. Fix the problem and apologize and then credit the customer where due. Is a dozen donuts a sufficient credit, NO! I ended up with my order over 40 minutes late and a $20 gift card and some donut holes. The microwaves started instantly going like crazy to make my fresh breakfast sandwiches and then my donuts were actually incomplete. They lost the second part of my order. We had to make up another quick dozen with all that was left and take up even more time. And, I'm celebrating being a mom today and late for my mother's day celebration. I do not mean to be so harsh, but this was...
