Hungry Spot — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I must say I moved from Miami Florida to Tennessee recently and have not had the best meal in the state of Tennessee yet, just two or three stars fast food takeouts but I finally found the best place ever!! I ordered the snapper escovitch meal and it did not fail. Thank you guys so much for preparing my meal it was amazing and it brought me back home with the island feel and Caribbean flavors. Now the only reason why they get four stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ is because the Mac and Cheese is not authentic and bake with the crust on top and again this is not that Miami flavor I'm used to but overall the food was great. I will be a regular at #HungrySpot 😉 the crazy thing is Tennessee doesn't even have authentic Haitian food here not on this side of the county so to find this Jamaican restaurant makes me happy it's Caribbean and that's always my go-to and you get full snapper! 🤙😁😁😁

Tried for the first time. It was just okay. The food didn't seem fresh. I did go for dinner. We don't live but a few blocks from them and it wasn't that fresh out the oven warmth I would've expected. The cabbage didn't have the flavor I was expecting. The Mac n cheese is a little odd. It didn't have that fresh creaminess to it. It seemed a little dry. The fried chicken had flavor but wasn't fried crispy like I expected. It was more soft like kfc original recipe. Not my personal preference. I may give it a try again to see if this was just an off experience. It wasn't terrible but it was just ok. I'd definitely recommend Cool...

This review is for their food truck. I went to the Friday night boro two days ago. I stopped by their food truck and ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and the mac and cheese. I did not get rice and peas. What I got was yellow colored rice with mixed vegetables in it. That's not rice and peas and not what I ordered. The jerk chicken, to me, was just grilled chicken with jerk sauce on it. The mac and cheese was too thick. Perhaps it was all Velveeta cheese. I did not finish my meal and was a little disappointed. Unfortunately, I was already home when I tried it and I was not going to drive back and won't go back...
