Pastelitos El gordito — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

The first thing I said when I got in the car to wait was "even if the food is hood, we are never coming back", they have zero customer service skills, they are rude and non friendly unless you speak their language. Very off putting and I am Puerto Rican. Now let's get to the food. I ordered the following, 2 of each total 50.00 Only thing good was they were packed with food meet or cheese Pork, looked like mushed dog food with no flavor and dry, did not taste fresh. Beef, I had high hopes because it was moist but the ground beef looked like dehydrated meet and an odd flavor. Potato/cheese, has the consistency of reheated boxed Mac and cheese and looked like chunky baby vomit. Cheese/bacon, had high hopes that dwindled quickly. The bacon looked and tasted raw, greasy. The cheese was good when you seperate out, tasted like the Mexican flying cheese but that's the extent. The pastry dough taste off. I placed an orders of 5 of these pastry stuffed cheese things, again same cheese but the dough was bland. I took pictures in case anyone asked. First time trying. From Atl. Saw this place in front of Advanced Auto parts and wanted a quick bite. Past elites are like empanadas with a pot pie shell. $3 per is great price and value. Beef was better than chicken. Both filled with meat in which I like. Doesn’t make me crave but I would purchase again and recommend. these were the only two with no cheese and no pork. Los pastelitos están buenísimos. Los de queso tienen la masa crujiente y el queso que usan es una delicia. Los de pollo también están muy buenos, con un pollo jugoso y bien sazonado, y la masa está en su punto.

Y la salsa de ajo, ¡qué decir! Está deliciosa, con mucho sabor, pero sin ser demasiado fuerte. Le da el toque perfecto a los pastelitos.
