Well now, let me tell you, this Waffle House in Murfreesboro, TN, is the finest I’ve ever laid my taste buds upon. It’s open 24 hours a day, which means no matter if you’re awake at the crack of dawn or up in the middle of the night, starved from a long journey or just in need of a good meal, this place will be there, ready to serve. And when you step inside, it’s more than just a meal—it’s a chance to share a moment with people on their own journeys, each with their own story, each sitting at their own booth, their own corner, reflecting on the road they’ve traveled. Some of them are quiet, lost in thought, while others laugh and chat like old friends. You can tell they’ve each got something to say, something to remember, or maybe something they just need to forget for a little while.
And the employees? Well, they’re a special bunch. Every one of them, with their warm smiles and steady hands, seem to have their own quiet mission. It’s not about just serving food; it’s about making you feel seen, heard, and cared for in a world that’s moving too fast. They’ve got a way of making the simplest meal feel like a gift, and no matter how busy the place gets, you can always count on them to serve you with patience and kindness, like they’ve been doing this their whole lives. They don’t rush, they don’t fuss—they just serve with pride, knowing that in this little spot, they’re making a difference.
Now, the food. Oh, the food. Those waffles—golden and crisp, with just the right sweetness—are as good as anything you’ll find anywhere. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and coffee that’s strong enough to kick-start your soul. And don’t forget the chili, rich and hearty, or the BLT sandwiches, simple yet comforting, just like a good home-cooked meal.
But it’s not just the food that makes this place great. It’s the people. Every customer, every server, every cook—they’re all part of something bigger. This Waffle House in Murfreesboro isn’t just about filling your stomach; it’s about sharing a moment in time, about slowing down and appreciating the simple things, and about knowing that no matter what hour of the day it is, this place will be there, offering comfort and warmth to anyone who needs it.
So, if you find yourself in Murfreesboro, TN, don’t go looking for some fancy restaurant. Head straight to this Waffle House. It’s the best I’ve ever had, and I reckon it’s because it’s more than just food—it’s a part of the story we’re all telling, one...

The restaurant was fully staffed with about 11 employees on the floor and behind the counter. The hostess had us seated quickly at a booth that had just been thoroughly cleaned. The wait staff were timely, friendly, skilled, and very attentive. The Unit Leader (name tag said "GI Joe") was running the line cooks in a very positive and energetic way. There were several occasions when I overheard him reinforce someone on either the wait staff or grill with a "great job", or "fantastic Rick, let's do that again". He also followed up behind our server, Chelsea (who did a great job), to make sure we were satisfied. The food was cooked and served to WH standards but, unlike many other WH locations where the hash browns might be burnt, or the eggs runny, our food service was spot on perfect. This is how a diner should run. Additionally, the whole facility was very clean. Great experience, will definitely look for oppportunities to...

A regular customer walked in and one of the waitresses an older lady around 60ish got excited and greeted him. I believe her name was Jessica She offered him his usual tea and grabbed a towel to wipe down the area in front of him. A older gentlemen who appeared to be the manager told her I was there first and to take my order. She still took the gentleman’s full order turned to the cook Aaron and asked did he remember the mans order due to him being a regular. She then came and asked what I would be having. I chose to politely remove myself from the establishment. I will never go somewhere and pay and not be treated fairly.I don’t know if it was a race thing or if she was just plain ignorant. My time and money are important to ma and this place will never...
