The food here was great and the people here were outstanding. They were very friendly and super accommodating with my wife's dairy allergy and went out of their way to recommend the correct items for her to order.
So why only 2 stars? The place is FILTHY.
A nice thick coat of grease/dirty coats almost all of the surfaces that I could see. The coke machine obviously hadn't been wiped down in over a week. The nozzles are supposed to be taken off and soaked each night, and I can assure you that isn't happening if they can't even wipe down the backsplash. The restrooms were so dirty they were basically unusable.
If the front of the house where everyone can see is as filthy as it is, you can be assured that where they store and prepare your food in the back is even worse. They are going to end up getting someone sick sooner rather than later. The food was good, but if I had noticed all of these details prior to ordering, I wouldn't have stuck around to find out.
There's no such thing as a bad restaurant, just bad restaurant managers... If these guys want to stay open for the long haul, they are going to need to step...
Read moreMy dude and I have been making the 45 minute drive from Tullahoma for about 1.5 years now. It's escalated to the point where we end up there 1-2 times a week now. Yes I know, this review is long overdue. We have a plethora of BBQ joints in our little town, and we're both from the west coast and have a little more diverse food preferences. Falafel is one of my favoritest foods in the whole world (Greek/Mediterranean food in general) The family that runs the joint are the sweetest folks. They strive for that mom and pop, family vibe and nail it. It's gotta be homemade and sprinkled with love. It's never not busy when we go there. Nine times out of 10 I'm getting a falafel dish, the other 1 out of 10, I get a gyro dish. My dude gets the Tabouli Special every time because the grape leaves are his thing. Everything is delicious, everything tastes so fresh. Wrap up your meal with some baklava and voila. Quality food and you're treated like family. Thank you for all the wonderful meals and service...
Read moreI'm visiting from Las Vegas, NV and was exhausted after my flight & long drive. My son suggested Gyro Tabouli. I always go to the Great Greek in Las Vegas. This place has great gyros & plates to choose from. My son got the plate & I got a gyro, so I could compare. Here the meat tastes different, but delicious. The pitas are fluffy and fresh, All the toppings to choose from made it even better. And the price is comparable, but I think I like Tabouli a lot more. I plan on returning to try one of the plates because it looked so delicious and the young man preparing it for us was friendly and made the visit pleasant even though we had no idea what to order and how to dress it. In Vegas they serve rosemary fries, topped with melted feta. It's too die for! Tabouli should try serving those in a food boat. You'll love it! This is my first time in Murfreesboro & I highly recommend you try their...
