Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I placed my order on the app and it made me choose a pick up time. I choose 10:30p I arrived at 10:25pm because it told me the order wouldn’t be ready until 10:30pm. When I said my name at the speaker the lady told me the HI-C syrup was out which is fine I understand that working in fast food things run out and it can be out of your control. When I got to the window the very rude lady working in the drive thru handed me my drinks. I ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade with my order as well and when she handed it to me it was completely melted and wasn’t even close to a frozen drink. I thought she made my drink wrong so I told her I ordered a frozen strawberry lemonade not a regular lemonade. She replied with “you took too long to pick up your order and it melted and I’m not remaking it.” I then tried to explain that the app told me my order would be ready @10:30 she said that’s not her problem and she can’t see that. She was very rude and had the worse attitude. I’m not one to normally put in a complaint because I work in fast food as a manager so I understand struggles but the customer service this lady had was awful and her attitude was disgusting. Then when I checked my food after pulling off it was all cold and I also customized certain things in the order like I wanted no pickles on the wrap and sandwich, and I wanted all drums and spicy chicken for the 3 piece meal and didn’t get any off that right. I had 2 spicy chickens in the box and 1 regular chicken and no drums. The food also tasted like it been sitting out for a while and it was old and probably the worse thing I’ve eaten in a while. I usually have a great experience at this popeyes but after this I don’t think I’ll eat here again and wish I didn’t waste my $34...

This was a disaster. New manager and it seemed the only person that knew what to do was cooking and the young lady at the drive thru. My order was $65 for a big family dinner I ended up waiting and 45 minutes even though the food was already done. Problem was the drive thru was a priority door dash was a priority and the orders just kept coming. Unfortunately I went inside first they had trouble ringing up a 20 chicken dinner then my ticket just kept getting pushed over. The next customer behind me ordered a 12 piece and they tried to do his order before mine and he stopped then and said I had been waiting too long already. Instead of the manager helping at the front to get orders out he's in the side area making mashed potatoes and gravy sides. I was shorted 2 breast and given 2 thighs instead were mostly a white meat family. The red beans and rice was about 75 percent beans and very little rice. Mashed potatoes and gravy had maybe 2-3 table spoons of gravy. I had an hour drive home and I should have checked it before I left. But after the 45 minutes wait we were ready to go I had just got my husband out of the Rutherford Hospital and he was miserable. Then the guy stuffed everything into small boxes which busted out and peed the side in the big plastic bag which they feel over and spilled( they should have been in a separate bag). So the entire experience left me very unhappy $65 for a meal that was not worth it. Salt we don't have a Popeyes in McMinnville and really was excited about it that's why I stopped there. I won't make that mistake again. Very unhappy...

EDITED: I’m changing my review because the manager Eddie reached out to me personally to make it right and was so nice when we spoke…after all, I said I wanted it made right and that’s exactly what they’re doing. So, I’m going to take him up on his offer to replace my meal. Thank you for reaching out to me…I’m sorry that I didn’t call and give you that chance from the start..as I’m not usually one to resort to this as a first measure. I went to this location and ordered an 8 piece meal all breasts. I was told it would be an up charge which I was fine with though don’t think I was correctly charged because nobody knew how to do it. Being from New Orleans, I was raised with Popeye’s though have not had for a long time. I was craving for a couple weeks and very excited to finally appease my craving. I waited patiently for my order and the girl said “here’s your breastises” and I took my order home only to find that I had 2 breasts and 6 thighs!! I am happy to provide proof if someone wants to reach out to me directly however, I visited between 1:30-2:00 pm on 9-13/2025 and spent $28.52.I didn’t call back because I didn’t feel confident that I would get the correct order and because I live many miles from the location. Short story, I paid $30 for 2 breasts and mash potatoes! I believe the employees know how to tell a breast from a thigh…sooo disappointing. I hope someone reaches out to...
