On Halloween I placed an online order for a family pack for pick up in store. We placed it for in store because we had somewhere we needed to be at and was bringing food for the get together and the drive thru is notoriously long. When we arrived my husband went to go in and the door was locked. Customers were inside but the door was lock. It was rainy pretty hard and the workers looked at my husband for 5 mins before cracking the door open and saying "the lobby is closed". There was no sign or reason given to my husband as to why it was closed. My husband explained he had an online instore pick up order. The worker told him he had to go through the drive through then proceeded to slam the door on him and lock it back. Again we placed the instore because we had somewhere to be at a specific time and could not afford to sit in the extremely long line. We attempted to sit in the drive through but after 20 mins we moved two cars and was still not close to the window to let them know it was a pick up. The order was now 30 mins past the time it would have been ready. we have always visited Zaxbys but the person to person customer service was terrible. It would not have been difficult for someone to have handed our already made order to my husband while he was at that door or at least given some kind of communication as to what was going on. We left the drive through because we were already late and could not afford another 30 mins waiting in line. We were still charged the $38 and never received our food. We attempted to call thw store after driving off 3 times with no answer. Then called corporate and were told we would have to deal with this matter with the franchisee. They would email them and someone would get back with us to resolve the matter. It is well past a week and we have heard nothing from anyone. Still charged but no attempt to resolve the issue. Read moreI live 4 minutes away from this location and end up coming here a lot because of both me and my kids wanting zaxbys. But honestly this is the worst zaxbys in town. It never fails that they’re going to make you pull forward or park in a spot to wait 10-15 minutes on your food. I’ve been told to pull up upon ordering a fried house salad before and waited so long that I left because my food never came and then was told I couldn’t be refunded for it by a manager. The service is bad. The employees don’t care about what they’re here to do. There’s always at least 7 people servicing customers and yet they can’t have the food ready per order. It’s fast food and yet it’s the slowest experience ever. I’ve worked in multiple fast food places including slim chickens, chic fila, DQ, wingzone, etc. I know what it takes to be in that kitchen and serve the food. I’m having a real hard time understanding why food is never up and ready. Do they even fry up chicken or fries beforehand or are they lazy and just wait till someone orders? I’ve never even made a food review before, but like this is bad. I don’t know if it’s management or what, but I’m a store manager myself and I know you have to hire quality people who are fast, efficient and serving with a smile. This genuinely needs to get sorted out. I just got food from this location and every car in the line was made to pull up. I’m sitting here still and cars are being made to park and wait. Just make the damn food, is it that hard? Or do we just need to veto this location and ask for something else. Cause this is BS. I’ve asked multiple times why I’m being made to pull up and they just keep saying the food isn’t ready. So basically take out the drive thru and make it a sit down restaurant. Read moreI came through the drive through at about 915pm and had the WORST experience ever . I should of kept going when I seen the young workers hanging out at the door with the restaurant door open . I should of kept going when I pulled up to the menu and heard the loud rap music (and I enjoy rap music) playing from the speakers and the child who was taking my order was laughing through the monitor before rushing to ask me what I wanted . I should of kept going when she said they was out of traditional wings and has impatient when I needed a minute to rethink my usual order . I should of kept going when I pulled up to the last window and seen teenagers who were supposed to be working sitting on items and texting on their phones . They were having a party !! Loud music , texting , playing , laughing on the intercom. I asked for insane dipped tenders and they served me cold tinders with hot sauce squirted on top , I thought they were supposed to be tossed and covered but I guess not . They served me old fries and rock hard bread . They were too lazy to simply toast another piece . I asked for blue cheese and Zax sauce which I didn’t get so I waited even after she closed the window to ask her again . My drive home was less than 5 minutes and ALL my food was ice cold and old! I started to drive back but I know for a fact management was not in the building and if they were , they should be ashamed ! $13 on a meal that I had to throw away ! I settled for Ramen and this is the LAST time a Zaxbys food chain will take from me . I wish I could post the video I have but I will figure out how to get the content...
