I used to order food here before they closed the restaurant for the Kroger renovation. I was excited that it reopend after a really long time. The first few times I ordered takeout after the reopen, the orders took an extremely long time to be cooked. I ended up waiting more than 20 minutes in the restaurant after waiting the 30 minutes they told me it would take when I ordered over the phone. I assumed it was because they reopened and we're getting back into the swing of things with a new kitchen and eat in area. There was a new girl that was working the counter who also works at Kroger. She was rude, answered the phone in the middle of dealing with customers face-to-face, and spent more time flirting with the owner's son that doing her job. We called to place an order last night and requested that the rice in the combination dinner be placed in a separate container than the sesame chicken so that the sauce didn't mix with the rice. The rude girl on the phone said they wouldn't do that, so I canceled the entire order. My husband thought it was ridiculous that they wouldn't be willing to do that and said the girl must have misunderstood what I was asking, so he called back to find out she did understand and refused. He asked her if she could go ask the owner's, and she said she would. She returned to the phone and said they said no. It makes no sense why they wouldn't fulfill this simple request to please a customer. I honestly can't say I do not know any restaurant that would refuse to give a customer an order where they had to put one part of it in a separate container than another part. That's simple customer service. We will not order...
Read moreFood is okay at best. Plenty of BETTER , CHEAPER options within a couple miles. Was a repeat customer for a couple years as well as my mom & sister because it was convenient. today they showed me they do not care about their customers as they do not want you to order a single meal AT ALL, not only are there entrees 3 sometimes 4 dollars more than most Chinese restaurants it costs what it would cost to dine in of a family of 3-4 at Texas Roadhouse or even Demo’s in Boro, for a Chinese take out restaurant that is ridiculous….. Their large soups are smaller than most other places (Egg Drop specifically). Their chicken is hit or miss. The noodles are very dry most of the time. I overlooked all these things because of convenience but no longer will I support this greedy, mediocre establishment. Plenty of other GOOD options even if you have to drive into town a little farther like I will be doing from now on. I respect trying to make a honest living but you shouldn’t be trying to hustle customers especially the ones who have supported you for several years. My Family & I will not be back. It’s bad when you can go eat Sushi at Lemongrass (far superior establishment & food) for about the same as what it would cost 2 people to order...
Read moreOne of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had quite a bit of Chinese food like everyone else. When I walked in right at noon and there was nobody in the restaurant and I should have just walked out then but I was in a hurry so I ordered food. I had a bourbon chicken and for a drink I just asked for water. Then I was told I couldn’t use my credit card since the order was less than $15.00. Once again, I should have walked away then. So I ordered soft drink which all of sudden made my bill $20.00 ($19.95 to be exact)! I questioned about the price of drink and the lady behind the counter who was not accommodating to start out with just mumbled something (probably cursing me out) which I couldn’t understand, so I just left it to be. Then I got the food… You see it. I get far more food at our local Chinese restaurant that my family goes on regular basis for less than $15.00. And the chicken was so tough that I maybe took 2 bites and brought the rest home to give it to our dogs. I just happened to drive by this restaurant so I stopped but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to this place. I’d say stay away...
