I can not tell you how excited I was for this location to open! I counted down days! My family went a few says after opening, and that experience was great. Afterward, it has been everything, but great.
If we go in person, the experience is okay. If we order through the app, the experience is awful. It's become a guessing game on what items we get or don't get. The store blames the app, the delivery driver blames the store, and we are stuck here in the middle just mad. We've reported one meal as just canceled completely on the driver's end and the store did comp that meal - thank you. Everything else is just plain silly and trivial to the point it's just irritating.
We never get the egg rolls we order - which is $2.00 for one, and we never get the sauce we request - this is all sauce by the way. Soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, any sauce. We never get any. The kid pack comes with a drink, and we never get that either. I've even swapped it up to just get the apple juice box, and sometimes we get that one. We've ordered adult drinks before, and never have we gotten those. I tried ordering the bottled water, thinking maybe if it was a bottled thing, maybe we'd get lucky, and still, it wasn't included.
The icing on the cake, though, is tonight. We ordered a Kung Pao Chicken Bowl, among other things, and ended up with an Orange Chicken Bowl. We ordered the Kung Pao because my poor husband had teeth pulled, and the Kung Pao is soft enough to not bother him, and now he was stuck with crispy chicken. If there was a substitution, we should have been notified or something, but we weren't. Any other time, this might have been okay, and I wouldn't have gone out of my way to complain about the little and trivial ways that this location has continued to disappoint me. However, completely messing up, my husband's ordered for a crispy chicken instead of a softer chicken just plain sucks. Read moreFrom the moment we arrived at the drive-through, we were greeted with a condescending tone from the employee, Hanouna. Despite clearly stating our order, she repeatedly interrupted and asked us to clarify our choice between chow mein or rice, even though we had already specified we wanted rice. Her attitude did not improve when we proceeded to pay, and her demeanor was noticeably unpleasant.
Upon returning home, we discovered that two of our plates contained the wrong food. Given our prior experience with Hanouna, we called the restaurant hoping to speak with someone else. Unfortunately, Hanouna answered the phone and, after a brief conversation, abruptly told us to call back in an hour before hanging up.
We then contacted corporate, and shortly after, Hanouna called us back. She apologized and claimed that the phone system automatically hangs up calls. When we pointed out that this was not believable, she was silent for a moment before stating there was nothing she could do and hung up on us again.
This level of customer service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management's ability to run the restaurant effectively. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location to anyone. I hope you take appropriate action to ensure that future customers do not have to endure...
Read moreIf I could give less than 1 star I would. To start I didn't get what I paid for but that is the least of my concerns. The utensil holder had multiple hairs in in, I informed staff and asked for to go utensils. No one ever went over to clean out the utensil holder. The food I did get was out of temp, and clearly had been sitting longer than it should have been. The sodas tasted off as well, they probably have not been cleaned properly. Neither my husband or I finished the meal. I addressed the issues with the manager, who didnt bother to come to my table, i had to get up and go to her. She told me she would talk to her staff and then clean it herself. I told her she should clean it first before any other customers were exposed then address her staff. She offered refund and replacement. I took neither but told her I would be reporting to the health department which I did immediately upon leaving. I worked over 15 years as a kitchen manager in various locations and this place is not up to health department standards. I honestly felt sick to my stomach after leaving.
