This cozy little mom & pop wasnt what I expected but wasn't too bad either. Thinking they would be geared around breakfast, I saw they have a lot more to offer in lunch specials than I would have bet. I enjoyed the Manhattan (open faced roast beast on bread, potatoes, & brown gravy) just like mom used to make. I have enjoyed Cindy B’s several times and have never been sorely disappointed until today. I ordered a sandwich with cheese fries and was horrified when I found that my pickle spear was buried underneath the cheese fries. The pickle had been completely disrespected and soiled. Who would do such a thing? Who would bury a cold pickle underneath some hot french fries and then drench the pickle in cheese? Five of us had a great mid-afternoon lunch of everything from chicken salads to sandwiches to breakfast. The only complaint about the food I heard was that the omelet was flat—there was no fluff in the eggs. The diner felt the omelet could have been better. The hashbrowns served with it were wonderful.
