I'm kind of surprised I'm giving this the review I am, but definitely a two-star experience. We came in and we had one of our party want to go next door to get a sandwich so the first issue they had when we told them was that there was no other food allowed in the restaurant, so we asked if we give you outside and they said yes. We were about to move and then she came comes back and says oh we can just put it on one of our plates, so I don't really know what the difference is, but it just made this weird little ordeal for nothing. Then, the food came out. My 19 year old daughter said it tasted like something my wife would make at home and while my wife's a good cook, that's not a compliment when it comes to Mexican food. She's not a Mexican food person and even she said that there's just no real flavor to it. The Birria literally had no taste. It just looked like oil water. The soft shell taco shells were what appeared to be store-bought and not even fully cooked on my 6-year-olds plate which they refused to cook a hard shell even though they have hard shell tacos. Just overall a middling experience and the food wasn't that great so I can't recommend it...
Read moreTried this place on a whim was sad that I forgot the coupons. There are so many birria spots now so it's hard to not judge harshly. I honestly was expecting to order the counter instead of the table but this is an actual sit down restaurant which we were given great service by the way. I ended up ordering the ceviche negro and birria Ramen and taco plate. First off the Mahi ceviche Had a great flavor and was a dark marinated it is fish with a strong flavor of soy which which gave the mahi the texture of almost beef which was cut by the sweetness of the mango, I enjoyed the flavor but wish it was colder to give it more contrast. You could tell the tostadas they served it with was made in advance so fresher ones would have also been nice. I was disappointed with the size of the Ramen bowl which literally had enough noodles for 2 bites, the broth was extremely salty and noodles undercooked as well. The tacos had good flavor but tasted pretty standard to other places but the consome was just to salty for my...
Read moreFirst time trying this place saw the sign on the street. Long story short the service wasn’t good server left didn’t come back until minutes later not sure why becuase this place is tiny it’s not like the menu is huge to look over. The soda was flat it was just water with syrup she ended up just giving me a bottle coke. We order tacos and a quesa birrria. Very small for the rice they charge $5 dollars a taco you would expect a huge portion with a large tortilla but no it was a regular size one. The taste was soo gross and salty there was zero flavor there was hardly any meat and the consume was all water no flavor except salt. I paid over 40 dollars for 2 sodas and 6 tacos. Let’s just say I won’t be coming back and I don’t recommend this place there far better other places for much better prices than this. Don’t do it...
