As someone who’s been to numerous boba shops, this has to be the one of the worst. The service was great, the boba and the tea itself? Really bad. I ordered a taro tea. I was really hoping it was going to be good considering the prices were pretty cheap, but the reviews were 4 stars. I took a sip of my taro and I barely could swallow it. I’ve had taro milk tea from multiple places and from here, it tasted nothing like taro. It just tasted like milk with pieces of blended up taro in it (consistency of sand almost?!). I even had someone else try it and the first thing they said was “…what did you order again..?” THAT’S a bad sign, they’ve have taro milk tea in the past as well and the fact that it was hardly recognizable is saying something. I proceeded to go back in and switch to a new drink, the cashier was really nice and apologetic so I was willing to give them another shot. This time I got the passion fruit tea in hopes for the drink to be better. It wasn’t. The tea only had a slight hint of passion fruit and tasted super watered down. I walked away disappointed in spending my money here. The reviews online have me baffled and I’m not sure if they’re genuine at all. Only giving it two stars because the workers were really nice but other than...
Read moreI was trying to treat my children to a good tea. My daughter in law and I drove all the way from Fallbrook to have their tea here again with my son (her husband) in uniform meeting us there from March AFB. He asks to use the restroom while waiting for our order to be made but was refused and was pushed to used the rest rooms at the Mexican place next door instead . An F&B business like this should have a decency to at least let you use you comfort room waiting and while you are giving them business, let alone a man in Uniform to be respected. Sorry, you had lost our business forever. If was very upsetting to see my son so uncomfortable. It was great the first time we met the owner and gave us a sample that made us try this place to begin with . We didn’t even want tea at that time but we gave them business-made us come back. It was horrible in time of need when you just need to pee. How do you expect ppl to drink your drink when you can’t unload. Why pushed to go to other business when we were not their costumer begin with. We passed so many tea place to come to your place (nothing special) but loyalty from the first experience. The “out of order”, “Covid” excuses not to use any restrooms need to go. It’s a necessity....
Read moreTRA is my favorite local boba shop. I will drive past other decent boba shops just to get TRA. I love that their drinks are customizable. I love Thai Teas but don’t like when they’re overly sweet so I love that I can ask for it half sweet. The boba is always freshly made. The majority of the drinks on the menu are dairy free which I also love because I can share them with my lactose intolerant friends and family. The staff is always kind and hospitable when we walk in the door and they always make sure we are satisfied with our drinks. At this point I am pretty sure they are on a first name basis with my husband, as we are regulars at this shop. If you’re in the Temecula Valley, this is the boba...
