Some things are more important than money. To the manager at Pasqualino's Murrysville, I hope you never have to go through what the man you refused a reasonable accommodation this evening. Not only were you compassion less We arrived at 5:30 and the restaurant was busy. The hostess offered us a booth. It that is difficult for my brother unload who is very obviously suffering from multiple health issues. He is trying to live the life he has left and wanted to simply go out to dinner. It was Monday, a slower day. I saw 4 empty tables in the back room and requested one. The manager was summoned and told us no, they were booked. I rolled my eyes and she continued insisting they were not available. He was barely able to make it into the restaurant, very obviously holding his oxygenator, really struggling to breathe, and looking quite ill. Appetizers, drinks, soup, main course, we were there an hour and a half total. A table for 6 and 8 remained empty the entire time. She lied, they weren't booked. She was clearly hoping for a larger walk-in party. Heart of stone.
I get it's a business. But what ever happened to kindness, decency, and compassion?? Not to mention the ADA, which by law requires reasonable accommodation for the handicapped.
Not only did she not fill the table, she lost 4 customers who will never ever set foot in there again. And I hope if you are any kind of decent human, you won't either.
incidentally, the food, facility, and service are excellent (other than the souless, callous manger). I hope there is a...
Read moreThis is usually a go to spot for my fiancé and I. We have been ordering pick up here at least every other week for the last several or so months. The food has always been superb, and I come from a family that were regulars at the original location as well. However, tonight was extremely disappointing on all accounts. We ordered a medium pizza, hot banana peppers, wedding soup, and the Italian hoagie. I always get the banana peppers and yes they are usually a decent amount of heat. However, tonight’s peppers were so hot they were absolutely inedible. I love hot food from Thai to the hottest of hot sauces, but this type was in no shape or form enjoyable. The pizza was fantastic and always is. The wedding soup was amazing as well. Lastly, the other two disappointments were the rolls and the Italian hoagie. The hoagie mostly had lettuce and a massive bun. Very little meat and the meat used was simple mortadella ham and some salami. I was expecting more from this place and the caliber of food they serve while ordering a Italian hoagie. Sopressta ? Capicolla? Even pepperoni? The hoagie bun was also very Wet. Lastly the rolls. Usually this is a great part of the meal as they always seem fresh. Today these rolls were stale and we needed to heat them up for them to even be edible. We will try this place again. Hopefully it was a off night because this is usually one of the top hits in murrysville and has been a favorite of my family for...
Read moreWe ordered carry-out. Simple order, Lrg 1/2 Pepperoni 1/2 Plain, 2 Tiramisu, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. The first issue was that the pizza was terribly under-cooked, no biggie it happens so, we threw slices in our air-fryer. The 2nd issue was when I realized that there was only 1 tiramisu. I called at this point and they were extremely accommodating and refunded me for the missing dessert. The pizza was kind of ok. Then came dessert time. The cookies were hard as rocks and the tiramisu was very poorly executed. The ladyfingers were dry, hard, and chewy ( kind of like biscotti texture ), the marscapone mixture was ok but there was SO much of it in comparison to the dry ladyfingers.
I forgot that, after their initial move, word around town was the food went downhill. My husband and I frequented the old location and NEVER had a bad experience. So, after years of avoiding eating here, I was excited to try it again. We spent $45 for a pizza that my 8 year old could've made better, overbaked Cookies, and 1 pretty sad dessert. It's a shame because I know that they can do/be so much better than this because I've seen it. I wasn't even going to write a review ( after the pizza and missing dessert) but, when literally every item was such a disappointment, I...
