Bridgeside Links — Restaurant in Muscatine

Pretty disappointed in the whole golf simulator part as well as the service at Bridgeside recently. The food is always good so I did give 5 stars for that but we did not eat there this time and I've always had good service until my last visit. 1 star for lack of service from the waitress and 1 star for the atmosphere because we were put in the back room simulator. Had a golf simulator reserved for 1/23/2025 (reserved it 2 days prior) and when we showed up they didn't have any records or my name written down for our reservation. Waitress said we could use the back room golf simulator. I agreed (reluctantly) because the last time we were there we were bumped to the back room simulator too. When I saw the new large 1 foot hole in the screen I asked about a discount and no response from the waitress. Projector turns on and there's all kinds of lines and something not right with the projector. Asked about a discount again because of that as well and....no response. Waitress asked about any drinks and I said not quite yet. We'll wait until all are here. We went ahead and played and had to constantly "fish" the ball out from behind the screen because of the hole and...the waitress never came back to check on us at all in the entire hour and a half we were there. They were not busy at all too. When we went to leave I suggested only charging us for an hour to make up for losing reservation, hole in screen, faulty projector and no sign of anybody willing to wait on us while we were there. She said "Well...everything must've been ok because you never came and said anything to me." Wow. Maybe she should've checked in on us...

This was the first time we were there and it's really large on the inside and nicely decorated on the inside/outside they have four outdoor TVs and they have awnings for the Sun and you can see the bridge and the water from there. Our waitress was awesome Veronica lots of good suggestions and i had the fish tacos which were very tasty with the pickled cabbage and the mango salsa, I liked how the fish was broken up into bite size instead of one massive filet. My hubby had the combo tacos which were beef shrimp and fish. We had the spicy Mac and cheese bites which were awesome I loved them. And we both had a drink and an appetizer and dinner for under $40 which I thought was great....

Don't be confused by all of the people sitting by the window making this place look like people are actually there. Its probably empty, as it should be.

Waitress literally vaped all over my food, then was extremely rude before we even said anything about it. Waited 2 hours for a ticket. Can't wait until this is a vacant...
