I stopped in today while biking on this lovely - but slightly chilly - spring day…I’d been wanting to try one of their subs for awhile but put it off just because I did not want to be a pain asking for no cheese AND no mayonnaise on the Dandelion Daze…shouldn’t have worried about that because the lady there was very nice about everything, told me my sandwich could be customized as much or as little as I wanted, and assured me that it would be no problem at all.

Honestly, she made me the best vegetarian/vegan sub I have ever had in Wisconsin, by a long shot (I did have an incredibly good one out in Chicago recently, and this one was definitely on par with it). GREAT bread. Very fresh vegetables. Delicious sprouts. I was given lots of avocado, not just a tiny amount like some places do! She also recommended Italian dressing and olive oil (which I did get)…excellent!

The subs, wraps and soup are VERY good BUT you just can not count on them to be open during there open hours! So disappointing. Example: today is Sat and they should be open 11 to 7. Got here at 6 and the open sign is on. Walk up to the door and there is a sign that says "Be back at 5. We will be open until 8 today". Well from 6 to 6:30 the door is still locked!. This has happened before also. Three separate times! What is the point of having open and close hours if you don't go by them? In the half hour I have sat here waiting for them to open, 3 other customers have come and tried the door and left. Guess they don't care if they lose business.
