Atmosphere: 4/5 Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior was clean, cozy, and adorned with vintage diner decorations. The staff was incredibly friendly, and their attentiveness made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit.
Food: 4.5/5 Steak 'N Egger's menu offers a wide variety of breakfast options that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. My wife ordered the Veggie Omelette, which was generously stuffed with fresh vegetables and melted cheese. Read moreThe food is really good and the staff are extremely friendly but I think for how small the business is it is extremely busy and there's usually a 30-minute wait and the waiting area is very small it's two benches and you're probably going to be sitting side-by-side with about 10 other people while you wait.
Usually I get annoyed when I go out to eat and my waitress stops at my table to ask how everything's going every 2 minutes but at this place it's the exact opposite because they are just so busy and I always need to ask for more napkins because the only napkins provided are the ones your silverware is wrapped in so literally one little white napkin wrapped around your silverware..
There's no way every single table doesn't ask their waitress for extra napkins they need to just put some containers out on the table that's like the cheapest upgrade imaginable maybe a couple hundred dollars to put a container on each table along with a couple months worth of napkins.
Other than that the food is good but it's just a really busy place and the plates are kind of small for the amount of food they give you and they only give you one napkin.
It's extremely...
Read moreUUUUUGH!!! My wife and I use to eat here every Friday for years. They had some great early bird specials that were perfect for a quick bite after dropping the kids off at preschool. Now that toast & jams bought them out though the prices are just ridiculous. $10 for an omelet with no hash browns, any burger, any basket, any skillet, all our favorites are 3$+ more now. Service is SLOOOOW and the wait is terrible on the weekends. Sucks they are the only place in North muskegon to get a decent sit down breakfast but I guess I'll be driving to lakeside cafe or Russ's from now on. It's good food and all but I'm too cheap to pay $25 for breakfast for 2. I can get breakfast or lunch at lakeside for 5 of us for $25 and it's just as good, just not as fancy of decore, which I could really care less about when I'm starving. Plus there's never a wait on the weekends at either of those places. It was 20 minutes to get a table this morning which feels like an eternity when you're hung over from staying at pigeon hill too long the night before, lol... All in all its definitely good food but over priced and over crowded on...
