A Cozy and Flavorful Breakfast Experience at Steak 'N Egger in Muskegon, MI

My wife and I recently visited Steak 'N Egger, a popular breakfast joint located in the charming town of Muskegon, Michigan. We were eager to start our day with a delicious meal, and Steak 'N Egger did not disappoint.

Atmosphere: 4/5 Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior was clean, cozy, and adorned with vintage diner decorations. The staff was incredibly friendly, and their attentiveness made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit.

Food: 4.5/5 Steak 'N Egger's menu offers a wide variety of breakfast options that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. My wife ordered the Veggie Omelette, which was generously stuffed with fresh vegetables and melted cheese. I opted for the Steak and Eggs, and I must say, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the eggs were fluffy and delicious. Our plates were also accompanied by crispy hash browns and warm, buttery toast. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us both satisfied and ready to start our day.

Service: 4.5/5 The service at Steak 'N Egger was impeccable. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food arrived promptly, and our coffee cups were never left empty. The entire staff worked together to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Value: 4/5 The prices at Steak 'N Egger were reasonable, considering the quality and portion size of the meals. While it might not be the cheapest breakfast spot in town, the attentive service and delicious food make it worth the price.

Overall, our breakfast at Steak 'N Egger was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service made it a memorable meal. If you find yourself in Muskegon, MI, and are in the mood for a satisfying breakfast, I highly recommend giving Steak 'N Egger a try! Overall...

The food is really good and the staff are extremely friendly but I think for how small the business is it is extremely busy and there's usually a 30-minute wait and the waiting area is very small it's two benches and you're probably going to be sitting side-by-side with about 10 other people while you wait.

Usually I get annoyed when I go out to eat and my waitress stops at my table to ask how everything's going every 2 minutes but at this place it's the exact opposite because they are just so busy and I always need to ask for more napkins because the only napkins provided are the ones your silverware is wrapped in so literally one little white napkin wrapped around your silverware..

There's no way every single table doesn't ask their waitress for extra napkins they need to just put some containers out on the table that's like the cheapest upgrade imaginable maybe a couple hundred dollars to put a container on each table along with a couple months worth of napkins.

Other than that the food is good but it's just a really busy place and the plates are kind of small for the amount of food they give you and they only give you one napkin.

It's extremely...

UUUUUGH!!! My wife and I use to eat here every Friday for years. They had some great early bird specials that were perfect for a quick bite after dropping the kids off at preschool. Now that toast & jams bought them out though the prices are just ridiculous. $10 for an omelet with no hash browns, any burger, any basket, any skillet, all our favorites are 3$+ more now. Service is SLOOOOW and the wait is terrible on the weekends. Sucks they are the only place in North muskegon to get a decent sit down breakfast but I guess I'll be driving to lakeside cafe or Russ's from now on. It's good food and all but I'm too cheap to pay $25 for breakfast for 2. I can get breakfast or lunch at lakeside for 5 of us for $25 and it's just as good, just not as fancy of decore, which I could really care less about when I'm starving. Plus there's never a wait on the weekends at either of those places. It was 20 minutes to get a table this morning which feels like an eternity when you're hung over from staying at pigeon hill too long the night before, lol... All in all its definitely good food but over priced and over crowded on...

Nice place for breakfast. We live in grand rapids and were up here for the labor day holiday. We met a couple of my kids and my daughter in law. I had the Texas French toast. I really liked the sausage patty. The eggs were also good. I was a little disappointed in the French toast though. I was expecting thicker pieces of bread. It appeared to be white bread purchased at the local store. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. My wife was thrilled to have gluten-free French toast and she said it was good. The rest you can see in the pictures. You do get a generous amount of food here!

Pretty typical breakfast diner experience. Food was decent. The service was just okay. Waitress brought me the wrong coffee creamer, didn't refill my coffee after she asked if id like more (another waitress did, thankfully). I had the eggs benedict . I added a cup of fruit as a side- great together and reasonably priced. My husband said the white bread toast was pretty blah and would recommend trying something else. The fair prices would bring me back- but I probably wouldn't go on a Sunday morning again (there was a significant wait time).

All the food was fantastic. I had the cornedbeef hash, and it was homemade. The rye toast was also homemade. My wife had the cinnamon French toast that was also homemade it was fantastic also. The server was super friendly and helpful. I would eat there 5 days a week if I could get away with it. If you are not from this area, this is a must try spot for all out-of- towners. If you're a local person, you all ready know about this place, and if you don't, you better get there.
