Overall a good experience, I went in a bigger group, we were sat on the covered patio area, which was great once the heaters kicked on, I'll give them an 11/10 on how effectively those things work! This restaurant is attached to the LC Walker arena (that now Trinity Health arena), it's nice to be able to hear the going ons of the games without having to actually pay for the games 😅. Food was general kitchen food, not too spectacular but not too shabby as well, what'd you would expect of an establishment of the kind. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't too busy for the time, pricing is ok, some of the items are a bit pricey depending on what you get, the drinks were pretty good. My daughter got popcorn chicken and fries, the chicken, although very crunchy on the outside was nice and even cooked on the inside, leaving a very good taste in the mouth (of course as mom I had to try some😁) the fries were okay, some harder than others. My order of loaded fries and sweet potato fries were great, id go back just for the sweet potato fries 🤤. The waiters we had were good, although I think because we were a bigger group they kept forgetting a lot of things prior to our food coming, although there was no mix up...
Read moreWorst experience at a restaurant I’ve ever had lol. The fountain drinks are $7 a piece (stated NOWHERE on the menu. The drinks menu only showed alcoholic drinks and a small section of nonalcoholic ones not including sodas). My boyfriend got like a Philly cheesesteak type sandwich, and the waitress said like chips or fries for the side when he ordered- he got fries, then was upcharged $3 for them even though again that was stated NOWHERE on the menu and the waitress did not ask in a way that implies it would be extra for the fries. I got nachos with ground beef- the ground beef was so slimy and full of grease that I legit had like three bites before I stopped eating and it still made me throw up after we left!! We then were charged a 3% processing fee for using a card to pay; I had cash and would’ve used it to pay if we would’ve been told at any point that it would cost extra to use card but the people running this establishment just want to scam you out of any drop of money they can get their grubby nasty hands on. The food we got added up to $33 yet with all the fees and random, unmentioned upcharges the total came out to $52. DO NOT GO HERE. it’s disgusting and a...
Read moreI came to the convention center for an event and saw Carlisle's. Having many hours between getting there and the event starting, this was a welcome sight. I asked about somewhere I might be able to plug in and do some work. They offered me either a table or the bar. Not wanting to take up several places, I plopped myself at the bar.
The staff was very pleasant and didn't pressure me to order food before I was ready. I had some drinks before I ordered the french dip and I'm happy I did. The horseradish sauce is homemade and quite delicious. The au jus didn't disappoint, nor did the shredded beef. The loaded fries were also quite good with a homemade beer cheese sauce that was excellent. (I normally dislike a liquid cheese.)
If you want to keep up on the sports happenings, there are plenty of TVs. The background music was mostly to my taste. I was able to participate in a work meeting without any issues, as well.
When I got the bill, I was amazed that the prices were very reasonable. I could have had several more drinks had I known. I don't know if I'll find myself in Muskegon again, but if I do, I'll stop by. You...
