Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Muskegon

I called ahead of time to place a simple order, 2 medium pepperoni pizzas. This is during the lockdown where many places are closed and have specific rules about the dining room. When I talked to the man on the phone, super kind and respectful, he asked me for my name and the description of the vehicle I was driving. He didn't give any details other than it'll be ready in 13 minutes. So I drove over there and I waited a bit. I didn't know what to do, like do I stay in the car or go up to the door? After 10 minutes of waiting in the car, I walked up to the door and waiting another 5 minutes where every employee watched me outside waiting. And finally I got back in my car and waited another 10 minutes. I watched my rearview mirror of the resteraunt and all the employees were laughing at each other and walking around the counter like they didn't have an order to fulfill. It started to rain and It was getting dark out so after over 30 minutes total of waiting for these pizzas, I called the store asking what's going on. The man asked if I was there and then told me to go to the door and put my money on the table outside. I did as he asked and he went inside to get my change and pizzas. It took him long enough for the rain to start coming down and me getting sopping wet. The man wished me a good night and I got back in my car at this point wet, cold, and now I had to drive in the dark. When I got home I had to reheat the pizza and the crusts were stale. If they would have given me better instructions or were more considerate of their customers outside waiting, then maybe my pizza would not have been cold and I would not have wasted a half hour of my day. I don't think I'm going to return...

If I'd actually would've gotten my order, I'm sure my food would've been great. Placed an online order in the app. Since they're doing a promo with online orders at the moment, they were slammed. Hence why I placed my order plenty early (4:08pm for a 5:15pm pick up). I had a large order so i knew itd take some time, especially on a Friday evening. They never even started it until I walked in after 5pm. Then since there were 6 people waiting in the lobby, I was told I should've ordered it earlier. Even though they said they didn't see the pick up time originally, the manager decided to tell me it was still my fault, they didn't know how long it's gonna take, basically it's my bad planning it's not ready. I told them to cancel the order since they never even did any of the things they were supposed to do anyway. They claimed they canceled the order but I'm still waiting on the money AND they refused to give me a receipt or anything saying the order was canceled. Literally the worst experience ever and I know at least 2 people behind me canceled their orders and went to Pizza Hut down the road after that talk with the manager too. At least Pizza Hut could make my food, on time, and didn't place the blame on the customers for their bad time management. 😂 Will never give this Dominoes location another...
