I'm usually not a harsh critic, but... The chicken pieces were tiny. Must have been harvested at a month old. The predominant seasoning in all the food is salt. The place is going backwards, as they switched from eco friendly cardboard to styrofoam containers. Drive up only service. What a waste of fuel. They could open the counter for take away service. I asked the window attendant if butter and honey were in the bag, as per the sign on the window saying you have to request them, she said yes. It wasn't. I'm kicking it down the road. Chicken Coop is exactly 1 mile east. Update: I appreciate the prompt reply. The restaurant business has always been tough. Short term profit, vis a vis Styrofoam, over long term environmental concerns is a recipe for disaster. The north side location puts in honey and butter without having to ask. I asked, and still didn't get it. You never addressed the pigeon sized pieces. You buy chicken by the pound, and sell by the piece. The smaller the pieces, the more pieces per pound, the greater your profits. Lee's has pinched too many pennies to be considered a good value. I can buy a whole roasted chicken across the street at GFS for $5 (sides...
Read moreUsing the Senior Disability transportation to get around, Last wk I called the Lee's on Sherman blvd. & asked if I could give my order over the phn while it took me X to walk to their door from the store I was at very close by. I explained abt my transportation issue & that my pick up X was in less than 10 min. away & I would have to make it back to the store the bus dropped me off at so I wouldn't miss my pick up & I needed the side items to be in containers that wouldn't spill over & make a mess while I was on the bus. The lady I talked with was very nice, understanding & accommodating, she quickly took my order, it was ready for me when I walked through their doors💚 bless their hearts, that lady's name is Rachel Longworth. And the other young lady that helped me when I was leaving, I'm embarrassed to say I forgot her name, But I will surely get it & add a update to my review, LORD willing. I just want to Thank Lee's for your wonderful employees & the food was very good & helped control my Low Blood Sugar attack. God bless yous...
Read moreFirst of all this is a zero star, not a one star review to be clear. So. This was my birthday spot with my sons every year. I have to find a new one because of this, so let me get into it. A week or so ago, I went into Lee's and successfully ordered Chicken to be delivered for my wife and son's graduation party. There was a larger delivery charge for anything over 15 miles or so. Still, not a problem..... until. They had a representative call me the day before my event, on a Saturday, to tell me that they would not be honoring my order and delivery because I didn't order enough food. Citing their error in all of this at the time I placed my order. Now, let's recap for the corporate person who's going to respond to this review. I came in, placed a catering order, and on the day before my event when it was too late to make any other reasonable arrangements, they called and said their staff screwed up so they would not honor the...
