My fiancee and I saw the reviews for this place and thought it would be nice to try out a local favorite here in Muskegon. So we called ahead and asked if they had an igloo available for 7pm and the hostess said "it should be available!". We got there a little bit before 7 and noticed that both igloos were currently occupied, so we walked in and were informed by the hostess that it all seating were currently unavailable, which if totally understandable, considering that it was the first night of the re-open on indoor dining. She told us if we wanted to wait at the bar and have a drink while we waited we could, which was a viable option at the time. So, we waited at the end of the bar near the door to go back outside for a solid 5 minuets before we were greeted by the bartender who was much more concerned with her regulars than helping two new patrons. We waited patiently for another few minuets, she started to take another order from her regulars, stopped and said "wait I gotta help these two first", took one step and turned back around to take someone else's order who was already sat at her bar. Wildly disrespectful and all together a disappointment. She acted like we weren't even there while she tended to people she obviously knew. My fiancee and I walked out and went somewhere else that night.
I'm sure the food is amazing(as I saw in pictures and other reviews) but the waitstaff barely did anything to invite...
Read moreGreat food, great atmosphere. We rented an igloo outside of the restaurant. This was a great experience. We were able to enjoy the great food and drinks offered by this place, while still being able to enjoy our own space. It is December and the igloo was heated with very comfortable seating inside, room for 6 total inside, so plan accordingly. The food was great, many different types of dished to choose from, something good on the menu for all to enjoy, we had age ranges from my grandmother to my youngest brother, all were pleased with menu options. The bar was running great holiday drink specials, made very quickly by the staff. The staff, while very busy was very friendly and made sure to pay great attention to all patrons and make sure everyone was taken care of very well. The environment of the bar/restaurant is very nice and casual. There are a few arcade style games available to ay while you wait for food and drink, or just to have some fun after a few drinks. The location of the restaurant is within the hockey arena, which is kinda nice. While we waited in lime to place a drink order we were able to watch the hockey team practice, which is pretty cool. Overall we had a pretty great experience. The only thing I will say we were not expecting was that it is more of the bar setting where you do not have table service and all food and drink orders are placed at the bar, not a huge deal. Still very high rating,...
Read moreI attend hockey games at the LC Arena quite often. From day one ive tried Rad Dads due to the limited options the arena carries for food. I always got the pork nachos. The pork on all of the pork nachos (7 total over the season) was the consistency of gravel. Way overcooked and almost inedible. I have also ordered about 20 or so of the buffalo cauliflower tacos. Most of the time they are sub par. Tonight there was no sauce. The tortilla was as hard as a rock . I ordered a taco with chicken on a waffle taco shell today thinking "hey it is hard to mess up chicken" yet they did. Hard as a rock. It was a chunk of char. Dont even know of it was chicken at that point. So far ive spent a couple hundred dollars there. Wish I could have every penny back. They seem to be trying to mimic Righteous Cuisine. They cant even serve a taco on a shell that isnt stale or rock hard. Not to mention they cant even cook something as simple as chicken. I watched the cook let the meat sit there on the grill. Watched them burn the meat they were cooking. I simply wish I could have...
