Got to the brewpub about 8pm to relax a little after helping to prepare for a friends wedding the following day. There was 6 of us, and when we walked in there was a sign saying that you needed to go up to the bar to order, which normally wouldnt be a huge deal for me. My biggest problems came in that there were no physical copies of a beer menu that I saw anywhere, only an online copy that someone in our group found on the internet and the board above the bar. As well as staff members that kept coming around to collect glasses who never once ask how we were doing or if we needed anything, even when stopping at our table. Also kind of struck me as odd how they "have food" but you need to go to the bar next door (Topshelf) to order.
Further more, they had a hard cider apple cider on their menu board that, unless you looked at an actual beer menu, did not indicate in any way that pecans were used in the making of this product. Thankfully my girlfriend said that she wanted a different drink before I ordered that for her. PLEASE MARK ALLERGENS SOMEWHERE ON THE...

Named after a massive sand dune, the popular tourist attraction fell victim to industrial manufacturing. Just like Muskegon. Owners Joel Kamp (who handles accounting), Chad Doane (head brewer) and Michael Brower (lawyer and marketing) recreated the golden age of Muskegon in their charmingly designed taproom. Tippler will enjoy sunny windows, wood accents and varnished knick-knacks. They even display objects from the historic Muskegon Brewing Company donated by Cole’s Quality Foods. You won’t find any novelty flavors at Pigeon Hill. They simply craft beers that honors the style but stands out from the crowd. Crowd favorites include Walter Blonde Ale, Shifting Sands IPA, Renegade White Double IPA, Motorboatin' Wheat and LMFAO (Let Me Fetch An Oatmeal) Stout. The one exception is the Oatmeal Cream Pie that you can have for only...
Read moreMy husband and I had dinner and drinks here for the first time on a Monday evening. They have more than beer. They have a small selection of wine and liquor drinks. The food menu is small, but offers a good selection. They have St. Patty's day specials alright now as well. It's a big space with quite a bit of bar seating and table seating. I had the Reuben and it was good. Let me tell you that I am typically not a reuben fan, but I'm trying to broaden my horizons. The only thing I would recommend is that they toast their bread more and or make the bread thicker so that it is not such a "limp" sandwich. My husband got the bowl of SCP Cactus Chili and absolutely loved it. Personally, it was a bit too sweet, which was different to me but it did have a decent taste. I had the whiskey sour on nitro which was perfectly balanced in my opinion. The service was good and the environment...
