Ate 10 BBQ sandwiches, crushing a recently broken record that stood for a long time.
BBQ Sandwiches - $4.85: They offer pork, beef, and ham. My favorite was ham. I ordered 8 pork, 1 ham, and 1 beef.
The bun is a store bought bun of medium quality (Pepperidge?). The meat is thinly sliced shavings. The relish makes their sandwich unique. The relish has cabbage crushed very small and has a great texture. It is mixed with a BBQ sauce that is of medium sweetness.
Service: Their secret sauce is a very pleasant staff! Our experience there was stellar. The waitress was very positive and helpful. The kitchen staff who came to watch this crazy person break a record were very supportive and cheerful. This is as mom-and-pop shop as you can get.
Atmosphere: Small sit down diner. There are about six booths seating four each and ten bar stools at the front counter. It was very clean.
Conclusion: If you are in Muskegon, you have to visit them once if you like BBQ sandwiches. They are super cheerful.

What kind of Sandwich do you want to? The menu is under the plexiglass on the table. The menu is so small that it should only take seconds to decide. Because the menu is very limited. You receive your food And just a few minutes. In fact, it took us longer to grasp what the menu was then it did for them to get it to us. Which is good because the restaurant is extremely small. It truly is a small town diner. The staff is extremely friendly and works with those very well that have not yet been...
Read moreMy grandparents are originally from Muskegon, and for as long as I can remember, Grandma has made “US 31’s” for special occasions and family dinners back home in AL. Finally got the chance to try some of the original Greek BBQ that inspired all those meals - and wow. The sandwiches are so so very good, plus it’s super neat to walk in and sit down in the same place that my grandparents use to eat all the time. It’s very different, if you’ve never had Greek BBQ, but delicious all the same. Definitely worth trying out if you’re in town. The fact that this restaurant has been open, owned, and operated by the same family for 5 generations...
