China King Super Buffet — Restaurant in Muskogee

My mother & I ate at China King on Friday around 4:30 pm. They were very helpful, patient, and highly attentive to my slow moving, elderly, mother. We were seated where my mother requested, in a booth upon entering and being warming greeted. We both ordered the obvious, their amazing buffet, with Cokes and ice water. Our server, Cindy, was really nice, making sure our drinks stayed filled and provided her assistance as needed. The buffet was very clean and the food staff continued to make sure everything stay perfectly fresh and hot. My mother's favorite is their stuffed mushroom caps and I really like it all. The Mongolian Chicken is a new favorite for me along with their crab casserole. Now the broccoli beef has the most juicy and tender beef steak and I like it too. I could go down each buffet line and pick my favorites however, blindfolded I would love whatever is plated and placed for me to enjoy while there. It is so yummy. Everything is worth going there over. I don't typically like any vegetables but i love all of China Kings! The ladies restroom is very clean and well stocked including 1 changing table and a handicap restroom stall. it is spacious, and NO automatic faucet OR auto towel dispenser or hand dryer. At China King they trust their customers to turn on and off the water and use the proper amount of towels to dry ones own hands. One cannot know how great it is to be able to wash and dry ones hands without feeling stupid when neither will work after going to the toilet! Ate at China king today and was horrified by the freshness of the food. The shrimp and vegetables smelled strong of ammonia. The lo mein noodles also had strong ammonia smell. I would guess the shrimp and noodles were cooked in the same wok, contaminating the noodles. I told staff and they argued with me. The pee smelling food remained on the buffet. I tried to keep my voice down as to not damage the business’s reputation in front of the other customers the person raised her voice and said “ I eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.” I just thought to my self “you’re eating pee pee food then” she said everything smelled fine. I thought it was straight pee in the food. I had to google why shrimp would smell like urine. Google said it was because the shrimp was bad ,breaking down into ammonia. If you get sick eating here it is because of the shrimp or cross contamination. They gave me 10% off my ticket. I will never be back and will share this story with friends and family to protect them from getting sick. My daughter and Wife ate the noodles before realizing it smelled like urine. I hope they Don’t get sick. I’m calling Muskogee’s health inspector, in the morning. I would have been happy if they threw out the spoiled food to protect their customers. Everyone’s real nice and also you have different selections to choose from from Sesame chicken to sweet-and-sour chicken to chicken nuggets the french fries to allow my noodles fried rice. It just varies on what you’re in the mood for and they also have spring rolls and egg rolls and different dessert options like banana pudding, chocolate pudding, little ice cream cups, fried donuts, and fruit. You could also get it just for some what you’re in the mood for but The food’s really amazing and especially like the casserole they have with the cheese and the broccoli and everything in it it’s really good and so is the other food options and they also have nuclear chicken general towels chicken it’s just first on what you’re wanting to get such as oysters.
